Land Rover Restricted Performance message on a 2010 Discovery 4 and Smoke test.

This short video is the result of several weeks of hunting for the fault that caused my restricted performance trouble code.
If you have this fault check for obvious leaks first but failing that get it smoke tested ASAP, I wish I had. Mine would only show up on a cold morning or towing uphill.

Inlet manifolds/rocker covers can successfully be changed without pulling the body off
Also check the vacuum solenoid on the passenger side cam cover which operates the secondary turbo
Had one fail which bought in a multitude of codes and restricted performance

Restricted Performance can be caused by many things, this was my story anyway. I have seen videos where they change the manifolds with the body on not an easy job but possible. 👍

Usually turn it off, wait 5mins, turn it back on and all ok for another year
