What is that large tent you put over the pond at the end of the video? I think that would be ideal for leaves in the fall but I am in Wisconsin and am wondering if it can stand up to snow and cold weather. Thanks!
Where we are in New York we get a lot of snow and for us we take them down before snowfall, they are great for the leaves in the fall.

What are the pink rectangular things against the sides of the pond?
Its styrofoam insulation board to protect the liner from getting punctured
You can use sand or soil in the bottom , right?
Sand or pea gravel. No organics!
Why aren't you using sand?
