So we have a 30 acre private lake where I work. I got the Ozark Trail $35 casting combo and while the reel failed quickly, I replaced it with a cheap Piscifun baitcaster and the rod is awesome. Anytime I have a few minutes of free time after work I’ll take it down to the lake and it performs flawlessly!

If u take some of the line off the Ozark bait caster it works great. Even better if u change the line.
It's always a gamble with these, some suck but some just dig them up! Had a terrible time trying the Ozark Trail frog last week, Great video man.

When you fish woth top water like the whopper plopper or the popper is that something you do a slow retrieve on? I have both brands googan and ozark but haven't had luck on either.

I live in the south and the Nate are terrible down here but there’s this stuff called amber romance it’s like some type of perfume and it keeps em away real good

I have added some of these to my tackle box last summer and not really a positive or negative for me just get the job done. I almost picked up the plopper a few times but if I’m a Walmart I usually go with the Berkley Choppo. Great video as always.

Man my Walmart sucks it has most of those hard baits but it only has two soft plastics the senko and the swimbait now I use the swimbait all the time it actually is really good but I know they have the rib ion tails they have a creature bait I believe something else as well

Do fishing with only bass pro shops/xxps, Cabelas, dick’s-jawbone, field and stream-they might not have a brand never been there though so I don’t know but they don’t have anything online, gander mountain rv and outdoors-might have any brand have found a brand for them but you can check it out. Fishing with only googan, zoom, z-man, strike king, and keitech.
