I feel your pain... I feel your pain and know your struggles as an aspiring tech RUclipsr (with NO sponsors). Like yourself, I started my channel with Hackintosh/Mac-oriented videos and slowly drifted into photography-oriented videos (BTW, I still post How To vids)
Another thing I do is sell products that I have purchased and reviewed and use those funds for upgrading or purchasing other "future review" products. 😉
But I can't leave without saying THANK YOU. I have been watching you for a while, I first found your desktop setup tour videos and really loved your audio quality. Something that I've been struggling with in my videos. Partly I think is due to my voice (being so awkward).
I have difficulty being in front of the camera, but I still push myself to do it. I wish the BEST for you and hopefully, sometime in the near future, we will get someone to send us something to review. 🙏

I really like your channel because it's so refreshing and honest. Your character really comes through in your videos; you aren't trying to be someone you're not just for clicks and views. I agree with your sentiments about big RUclipsrs and their tech reviews - it drives me crazy that the same pattern appears again and again: company sends RUclipsr pre-production/unfinished product to review, said RUclipsr invariably puts 'BEST' in their title or says it's the best product right now, but you just know that off-camera, they won't use that product again. By the time the product is actually released, everyone has already moved on to reviewing other unfinished products.
This means that the audience needs to find people like yourself; people who have used the actual finished product for some time and isn't afraid to give their unbiased opinions. Sadly, those channels aren't very easy to find sometimes because, you know, the algorithm.
Please keep doing what you're doing; know that it is most definitely appreciated and valued!

Couldn’t agree with the Air 5 more! It’s not worth for the price, better get a 2nd hand instead.
Btw your camera reviews are really awesome, looking forward for more

I came to your channel via your X-T200 video, which I really enjoyed. Sometimes people need videos like this to help them find the courage to spend their savings on new tech and sometimes we need them to avoid "buyers remorse" after we've already parted with our money. I believe that your channel appeals to people because you come across as authentic. So many tech RUclipsrs are clearly just mouthpieces for their sponsors/donors so it's refreshing when someone really speaks their mind. I guess it's hard to be authentic though if you want to make money and keep your sponsors/donors on board. I recommend that you check out the "Camera Conspiracies" RUclips channel to see an example of someone (Kasey Stern) who takes "authentic" camera reviews to the extreme and yet still somehow manages to keep his head above water. He started off just like you doing travel videos before getting into camera tech. Keep up the good work but lay off the midnight booze :-)

I really enjoy your reviews. Stumbled across your review on the X-T200 and thought I'd give you a follow. I like how you deliver your reviews and I'm keen to see how this channel develops over time. As I'm older I have money, however I really like the emphasis on value. As we get time poor, we sometimes get lazy with our purchases. It's nice to have a sensible voice telling me what I should be looking out for in terms of features and real life functionality. Good luck and I hope your channel blows up :)

When Mik said “that’s pretty much the life update…..it’s been tiring!” I felt that honestly 😂👍🏼 (completely relative)
Also on a serious note, just like many others I found your channel through the XT200 video and I ended up binge watching and subscribing to your channel is because I felt it was honest and sincere and pure hard hard work to it’s core. And I am requesting you to please start being active on Instagram because you deserve getting sponsored by brands and Instagram gets highest visibility for that. I work as a social media strategist part time and I personally want to make your account grow and make sure you get sponsorship. I’m ready to put in the work for your account growth for free if you are ready to commit to it. And my motive behind this because I love your channel truly. So take your time and do let me know if you want to start working on it.
P.S- You were right, your hair have a mood of their own

      Life truly is tiring. 😂Hahahaha.
Yeah, I know I should be much more active on instagram. I don't know why I have such a hard time trying to do so, I have been spending less time on the app but I will definitely try my best to be more active once I have more time. ☺ And thank you for your offer! I really appreciate it! I don't want to take up any of your time since you do this part time, so for now, I'll just try my best to be active. Also, I want to thank you for your support. It really means a lot to me. ☺
And yes, my hair is what you could call bipolar at this point. Hahahaha

@@BiancaMikaehla Hey Mik. It’s wont be a bother but infact it would be a sincere pleasure working with you and see you grow. But only when you are comfortable and ready for it. Also looking forward to seeing you active on Instagram. Taking your word for it :)
