- Most women want to feel cherished, appreciated and respected when it comes to their romantic relationships. We want to feel like a priority, and a first choice. But even though this is what many of us want, there are so many women who end up in good time girl arrangements where they are not cherished and certainly not a priority.
Some women don’t realize this happening until it’s too late, some women end up trapped in the cycle of repeating the same behaviors that keep getting them the same results and others feel like once they have fallen into this category, they’ve been typecasted and there is no way out, so they continue on that path. So, to do our part to counter this phenomenon, today We’re going to get into the psychology of the good time girl a bit to figure why this happens to some women and how to stop it.
This is the second of the 5 in depth breakdowns that I promised from the 5 categories men put women into video. We’re going to explore some obvious as well as some not so obvious parts of this dynamic. Because even though the good time category is a little more straightforward there are some overlooked aspects as well as some surprising aspects. Then, of course we’re going to talk about how to get out of this dynamic. Because we’re all about solutions.

How amazing that this video came after I blocked my FWB (successful attorney and good looking). Not saying he was a bad guy, but our relationship was so surface level that when I attempted to make it more, I realized I genuinely did not like anything about him other than the bedroom. As I’ve transitioned into this level up journey, I realize that the standard I have for men is being able to have depth, admiration, and likability (chemistry) for each other. I think the “good time girl” isn’t token seriously by the man not always because she doesn’t fit some sort of standard, but sometimes purely because that man doesn’t want the commitment.

I feel like ive been treated like the good time girl buts its all against my own wishes. Literally. i dont try to lead with my body but I can say no to a mans sexual advances and he’d still not stop and try to push. I havent always done everything right but i tried my best to not be placed in this category and did what i could. So this has always been a frustrating topic for me, I wish guys would just choose girls who want this :/

Sounds like you tried unsuccessfully to establish boundaries, that's why they didn't take you seriously. Sometimes you have to prevent yourself from any type of contact with these guys, and if you find yourself in their presence, leave quickly. Good luck, you've got this 💯❤

I'm so glad you're back. I find myself looking to your channel afraid I missed an update. I was literally just thinking about being mad that I wasn't fast back in my 20s and 30s because I'm single now...and then this video pops up. I was basically thinking I coulda had fun and probably been with someone by now. But nooooo I save my hookups and dating around just to be single. Can't wait to watch and get some gems. in a way I'm glad you don't post too often. Quality over quantity. Edit I should have watched this video before commenting. I was a good time girl with one person and it backfired. All of these tips I have done and I will work on it and have more compassion for myself so in turn I will meet and attract some one who respects me for me and not for the physical.

This comparison may be a bit random, but when you spoke about how some men may genuinely like the "good time girl" but ends up marrying someone else (most likely the "good enough girl"?) I thought about the movie Legally Blonde. Elle Woods was dumped by her boyfriend because he needed a "Jackie O" and not a "Maryln Monroe". She was essentially put in the good time girl category because she didn't fit his family image even though she thought they were ready for marriage.
This is why I'm celibate 😭 that's my armor of protection.

Im a goodtime girl, I have never had a normal relationships. I have left lots of relationships cause of my desperate personality. I had a traumatic childhood n I became angry as an adult, I would rage actually im such a mean person, I left all kindness or understanding behind.

Love this one Queen! Every detail of this dynamic was laid out so clear and concisely! Years ago I was her. It took me that one time to LEARN. Another factor that could keep you from dream girl status is if you’re too young! (I was 22 and he was 30) Or if the guy in question is too insecure to pursue a relationship with you. We are certainly like minded ladies! I’ve been preaching to younger ladies that being fast and promiscuous will wear you down and you’ll miss the best years of your youth!
