Great interview….. and it’s about time Cody gets the recognition he has long deserved for not only being an independent artist but the GREAT singer / songwriter he is ! Country music radio needs to get on board and get him air time because the fans deserve him
The man is incredible! My friend put me on to him but it took me up in these attics working all day streaming all his stuff to really fall in love. It just has so much depth and story telling and relatability.
Man I get that. I achieved so much in spite of being drunk everyday and somehow kept it going. (The last time I ever got drunk was with you at a bar in Cleveland in February 2020 I had actually quit the month before but told myself if I got in the back I’d have a few beers well one thing led to another 😂) When I stopped I had to cut out other things I loved. It kinda left me lost but I was at a private pandemic show that your friend Chuck was doing and talked with him some and his words helped me stay sober and gave me something to fill my time with. He said “ I don’t need to drink, I run for a few miles in the morning and I’m high all day” that changed my life forever in a great way. Working out at first sucked but it filled the void and still does to this day. Sober thing is a great song but I have a hard time with it because it takes me back to just quitting and all of those emotions.
I found out about Cody In 2014. What drew me to him was how relatable he and his songwriting was and is. What he’s done is amazing. Doing it his way on his terms. He’s an everyday guy who has shown many folks in the music business that all you need is yourself and a solid team. It takes time but the reward is much sweeter. He is showing Nashville and L.A. the right way for an artist to pursue his or her dream and the vehicle he has created to make that dream and career a reality. You just keep getting better Cody and all of us are enjoying the adventure right along with you. What a great interview! Thanks for this!🎶
great interview! So happy for you Cody with your sobriety. Both of my parents abused alcohol but I never drank or smoke! I do love live music wherever I can get it!
Cody Jinks is my favorite living artist, and as a musician, this is the interview for me! I love this! Edit: The one thing I hate about this is that it's so short!! I can't wait to see Jinks on the Joe Rogan Experience so we can get 3-4 hours of him!!
Love this! Keep doing your thing Cody!!! See you from front row in 25 dayssss! I'm sooo super excited! Wishing I could pull off the VIP! Maybe next time!! 🩷🫶🎶🎵🎸🎤
I tried to do this but by uncle from Texas won't let me. If you have a license pulled or canceled it can cause a domino effect or deny access or cause a many things to fall. Because of something minor and the bridge could be repaired?
I just purchased the CD "Change the Game," and play it constantly while driving in my car. Love Cody Jinks.
