I first heard Death Cab through a guitar hero-esque app on my ipod touch, called tap tap revenge, which featured Sound of Settling from Transatlanticism. I was hooked almost immediately, I'd set the game to play just to hear the song, and it was the first album I ever downloaded (I'd only ripped cds up till that point and couldn't find a physical copy at any of the shops near me). They're now my favourite band, saw them live most recently on their Asphalt Meadows tour In Birmingham (UK). Really love their work, excited to see them again when I next get the opportunity.

Why put it out there?” I thought, if only I could ask Tom Hanks how to get more WWII survivor stories out there? Maybe you could ask him for me! Loved this interview, I will subscribe and watch! I was once in Dinky Donuts on the Upper West Side of NYC ! Joe DiMaggio was there (alone), and to my surprise, he dunked his donut in his coffee ! Well, later on, I was telling my friends what I'd seen, and, not only did they not believe that Joe was a dunker; they didn't even believe that Joe would even go to a Dinky Donuts ! Later, those same friends and I were at the Dinky's and, sure enough, there was Joe D., and was dunking !!! I tried, very subtly, to get his attention, but he never looked over ! Oh, well !!!
