- It's a new week, so some new races for Gran Turismo 7 this week!! We're visiting;
- Race A: Sardegna B || Focus RS
- Race B: Lago Maggiore Full Course || Gr.3
- Race C: Watkins Glen || Hand Picked

Brake Balance: On each of the Lap Guides at the Start

Racing Ratings;
- Start Type: Is it good/bad. Grid Starts are good in my opinion (Unless lead to huge crashes). Rolling starts can be good unless they start on or before a corner.
- Car / Tyre Choice: Is it a good Car / Tyre choice? Does it work well. Racing Hard Tyres aren't the greatest in my view but sometimes they can work.
- Good Racing / Strategy: Can you have some good battling, can you race side by side. Is there a good Strategy, e.g. pitting on different laps possible etc.
- No Penalty Issues: Track Limit issues where they don't make sense, Wall Penalties that don't make sense etc.
- Race Length / Randomness: Is it a good length of time to race. E.g. Laguna is 5 laps, but the 1st is a catch up lap... Weather etc. for the randomness
Each score adds 1, so A + B is out of 5. Daily Race C is doubled due to double the length so out of 10.
Week is OVER 15: Then its a GOOD Week
Week is OVER 10: Then it's an Average Week
Otherwise: Not a good Week

Hi Tidgney, I just wanted to comment on the tap you had with MGFlash at Maggiore, you thought it may have been due to him being on VR.
I dissagree as I also drive VR and it makes my driving so much better in these situations, I would have and have in the past, check my radar and knowing someone was close I would have been checking mirrors and looking out the side window to drive as clean as possible. I also use this tactic to keep someone along side in the braking zones coming into corners.

This is my Favourite Sardegna Layout. I love this track in Gr4. Watkins Glen is #1 for me, but not for street cars.

I found that in the 2 races i did in daily race B, there was a lot of carnage at T1/T2

Every week i hope that they do 1 longer race a 20-30min one. I raced the Toyota gr cup last night 11 laps at nurbegring gp. I got smashed off at the first corner down to 9th then had time to get all the way back to 2nd. I was catching him at 0.7 a lap but run out of time. But just the longer race just gives you time if someone messes up your race at the first corner
Then you'll love the next round, 20 laps around Catalunya.
I think they're doing that once a month at the moment (Slightly longer races, or at least more "interesting" races)

Sardegna B is one of my favorite tracks too, I just love the flow of the turns.

I'm not quite following how using VR would make awareness and spatial visualization MORE difficult
From my perspective if you're looking far to the right, then start to turn left your head movement then may miss there's a car on your left originally.
@@tidgney I also forgot that most VR headsets have a bit smaller FOV than looking at a flat screen
Again, I will complain that race C should have some strategy!! Come on GT!!
What do you make of Lando sending it against Verstappen? He didn’t hit the apex.
This is where different opinions are taken into account. Personally completely missing the apex I don't see it as clean as it's more avoidance than clean.
Better pick a Japan car in daily race C they are OP

I’ve tried everything and GT7 in sport mode is still broken for me, now I can’t even move for the whole race because it’s so glitched out

Not sure how you add them, but a minor improvement to your videos would be the addition of chapters for Race A, B, C, plus the track guides and bloopers. I know you put up timestamps but chapters would make it dead easy to skip a race, or go to the guide. How about it Tidge?

I'm not sure if I agree with limited sight when people race in VR. It seems to me that people aren't turning their heads and using their mirrors as they would if they were driving IRL. As someone who doesn't have VR but has watched several videos of people racing/driving with it, if I'm wrong on the ability to turn your head and use mirrors like a real car, then it's up to them to leave more room and drive as if someone is next to them. We can't keep making excuses for VR drivers. They need to adjust to the gear they use just like the rest of us
My though esactly from someone who drives VR, I commented above.
As a VR racer I agree. It's easier to see (and hear) people around you. I often lean forward to look backwards towards my blind spot!
