I have never tried an 85mm and 20mm lens combo; however, I do love to use a 90mm and 21mm on my Leica M6 and M10m rangefinders with a 35mm as a third lens.
Making Denver look beyond incredible! I’m a new photographer and live in the area… have walked these same streets just didn’t have the same vision. Great video.
Nice upload, I like that you include warm up shots and explain when it is that you realise the shots you hope to be taking.... I'm guessing that it's much easier if you can try to have a 1 or 2 shot goals for the day instead of aimlessly snapping away. 👍
Well as long as the shots in my head aren't too specific, because if they are, I'll always be let down. It's so rare to be able to get the exact shot you have in your head. I find it much better to have a general idea, but to let the day take you where it will. There's always some element of randomness, so it's best to embrace it.
I think what I should have said was..... a style/subject i.e. shadows or dogs or hats instead of leaving the house with a blank mind. I Just find that I take my camera for a walk and then think I should buy a dog, but if I buy a dog which one will get the most exercise. 👍 Great channel.
Same idea I had but I use the 20mm 1.8 and a 90mm 2.8 Macro just because I still get the 85+ range and good background blurr with being able to do macro (obviously) good to have on days that lighting isnt ideal or just added flexibility.
Complete douchbag 😁 Really enjoying your thought process. Stumbled onto your videos as I've just picked up the 20mm and street photography is something I'm keen to try
Some good shots there! Last weekend I went for B&W street photography with the same 20 mm lens. For a while I’ve been wanting to get 85 - the sigma art one you used looks solid.
Thanks my friend! That Sigma 85 f1.4 is absolutely outstanding. Stands with the best of em in sharpness and for substantially less money. You wont be disappointed.
A RUclipsr that actually shows themselves USING the lens? You deserve to have more subscribers.

Appreciated the “shit I’m thinking when doing street photography” commentary. Definitely
Yeah I’m running the same focal length setup. Both Sony 1.8’s, really all I need for street photography.
Is there a 95mm lens I can use on Zf?

I have the 20mm & 24-105 f4. Looking to buy that sigma 85mm next week because of the reasons you stated of not using the in between focal lengths.
Its a beast of a lens, you wont be disappointed.
sigma is a brick, pick a lighter 85 1.8, if you want to carry it for hours, you'll thank me later
Complete douchbag 😁

Hey you complete dough bag, enjoyed the video! I have the same focal range combo but with the Sony 85mm 1.8!
I came for some inspiration with using my 10-20mm f.3.5.. but I like your humor lol
Dope pictures too
You constantly compain about 20 being too wide. I guess a 35 or a 24-70 f4 would be better, since you don't get bokeh at 20 anyway.
I like your personality.
😅😂🤣
