That's sufi music, performed Qawwali styled. This style has existed for over 400 years now. Sufism arrived in India some 700 years ago from Central Asia. Sufism was deeply influenced by Central Asian shamanism, so despite being a branch of Islam, it incorporates certain non-Islamic elements. For example going into a trance-like state while performing music(much like modern metal), head banging and swirling dervishes. You can say this is the oldest form of metal.

You know what buddy. Don't limit yourself to the mainstream and what the West tells you India is. Theres an unimaginable cultural variation in India that the west (and even Indians ) is unaware of. Each state in India has its own language, movie industry, music, dance and art style. Explore.
the chorus refers to a musical device called a "jugni" which is common in punjabi folk music, this type of music can go past any singular topic or purpose, its almost for the joy of music itself, the main line being repeated is "jugni says" over and over, in a delicious trance, jugni has deep ties to sufism where one of prominent ideas is complete surrender to god
I can hear that middle eastern minor note range that’s more complex than western notes used in India, Arabia, Iran and Spain. Its ancient and influenced cultures that traded with each other and intermixed over time. This is why System of the Down in Glendale, California use that note scale as well in modern metal music.
You probably know this, but in case anyone else doesn't, System Of A Down is a band whose members are all from a community of Armenian immigrants, and they are all influenced by Armenian traditional music, which frequently uses scales quite different from what we might be used to in Western music.
I don’t know what it is about the Indian language, but it sounds amazing combined with metal music. Especially when the person singing is as talented as those ladies. The man sounded great as well. This needs to be a thing. This is just as good as Rammstein. It just woks!
The language is Punjabi in the Sufani or Sufi tradition meaning religious devotional music used to worship God, its over a thousand years old and the amount of talent in Pakistan and India in random villages in small provenances is absolutely unbelievable!

this isn't "what if the Nooran Sisters were SOAD" or RHCP this seems more of an original expression.. this is a true original.. i hope you colab with them and a killer band that is up to your genius playing ability and musical sensitivity. peace and namaste.
После месячного перерыва я прослушала снова
И это настоящий экстаз
In 2022 the best movie for me is RRR from India. And this video is the best metal song of the year!)) hail indian culture!
Listen to Bloodywood Dana De
You know what buddy. Don't limit yourself to the mainstream and what the West tells you India is.
Theres an unimaginable cultural variation in India that the west (and even Indians ) is unaware of. Each state in India has its own language, movie industry, music, dance and art style.
Explore.
You're an absolute genius! I wonder what they are singing about with such passion? They are literally in a trance!
it's usually about God
Trance is pretty common in indian classical music
@@paxonite-7bd5 Thank you.
@@DenkyManner More likely gods.
the chorus refers to a musical device called a "jugni" which is common in punjabi folk music, this type of music can go past any singular topic or purpose, its almost for the joy of music itself, the main line being repeated is "jugni says" over and over, in a delicious trance, jugni has deep ties to sufism where one of prominent ideas is complete surrender to god
This is the best Metal performance I've seen in over a decade! Bravo 👏👏
Their voices are so powerful!!
I need a full album of this. I am in love.
I can hear that middle eastern minor note range that’s more complex than western notes used in India, Arabia, Iran and Spain. Its ancient and influenced cultures that traded with each other and intermixed over time. This is why System of the Down in Glendale, California use that note scale as well in modern metal music.
The does sound is quite similar to SOAD, except for the different language
You probably know this, but in case anyone else doesn't, System Of A Down is a band whose members are all from a community of Armenian immigrants, and they are all influenced by Armenian traditional music, which frequently uses scales quite different from what we might be used to in Western music.
@@keithklassen5320 Yep.
I wouldnt say its more complex just different.
its major
I don’t know what it is about the Indian language, but it sounds amazing combined with metal music. Especially when the person singing is as talented as those ladies. The man sounded great as well. This needs to be a thing. This is just as good as Rammstein. It just woks!
Try other Indian languages as well.✨
The language is Punjabi in the Sufani or Sufi tradition meaning religious devotional music used to worship God, its over a thousand years old and the amount of talent in Pakistan and India in random villages in small provenances is absolutely unbelievable!
India has Bloodywood. The bands style is similar to this with Indian vocals and Rock/Metal music.
Those ladies are really feeling it, i love how tranced they are when singing. Thanks for this amaying content!
It's amazing how two genres I don't listen to can be mashed up into something that I can't stop listening to.
Man, you are a genius composer, the sense of harmony and melody and the good taste. Simply amazing
This is absolutely BRILLIANT!! I've watched it about 20 times now and it's given me goosebumps every time! Well done to everyone involved!
Yeah, I keep listening to it too. It's really good.
Bro, you have to do a studio recording with these girls. It’s insane how good these fusions are.
I would 💯 go to this concert. So much better than today's music. 🤘
I want to know if the Nooran Sisters have seen these collaborations.
I'm sure they'd love them.
this is one of the best remixes so far, the energy is unreal, it's just hilarious how well it works...
Спустя 4 месяца это всё так же охрененно!
