It's like they're surpassing their own consciousness to realize something bigger. This had to be a very spiritual Raga of some kind. You did an awesome job of composing all the instrumentals to fit this very spirited song, Andre. And I'm giving equal credit to the Nooran sisters for being such a talented & influential pair. Based on what little I know of quwwali singing, that's the whole idea; to let yourself be totally consumed by the music and the energy being generated and just lose yourself in it as a means of connecting with the Divine. The Nooran sisters are just amazing, aren't they?
They are Sufi, the same sect responsible for "Whirling Dervish". In their faith, music leads to religious ecstasy and is considered virtuous. Most Western metal concertgoers probably agree with that sentiment :)
