    FUN FACT:
Daler Mehndi was often criticized that his music videos were only being popular due to the abundance of beautiful, dancing women in his videos.
In 1998, he responded by creating this video that featured nobody but himself.
This was probably the first Indian music video that used Green Screen VFX.
The song gained a worldwide cult following after that.

the story of why this music video exists is just great. the artist NORMALLY does the stereotypical "hip hop video" thing of filling the music video with drop dead gorgeous scantily clad women dancing, and the artist was criticized by someone of note, who said the only reason he was successful was because he surrounds himself with sexy women. as a response, the artist made this video with no women and just cloned himself on bluescreen to prove a point(actually being the first indian music video to use the technology), and this song apparently was panned by music critics, but nevertheless sold like hotcakes and became one of the top indian pop tracks of 1998. now because of the internet, it's internationally known, and the dance choreography has been mo-capped into world of warcraft and medal of honor games.
so yeah, this video was literally just Daler Mehndi being like "Sit down, little man, before i crush you with my wallet..."
