- On this video I'm showing how to LS SWAP your 88-98 OBS. There are many ways and different combination on how to do a LS SWAP but at least you will get an idea of what all you need to do. I watched all these videos an probably the best videos on youtube with full details an videos to do a ls swap! Just to be completely clear u did leave the stock pcm an harness in an didn’t disconnect the power to it?
thanks bro I try to be as clear as I can on my videos lol n yes I left the orginal pcm in the truck and just trimmed the orginal harness
Recently got a deal on a 6.2 L92 for my 1990 OBS and out of all the videos I’ve seen so far this has been the best! Great job! Can’t wait to keep watching to learn and see this project finished 👍🏻

I’m planning on swapping my 5.7 vortec to ls 5.3 my question is will my 4l60E will bolt on into the 5.3 with out any changes or do I need to replace anything?
u mean the 4L60E from ur 5.7?
Your swap did you break down the motor or just install. You make it look real simple
yes I broke it down to the block but did not remove the crank, pistons or cam just replaced everything else that I could brother

@mybaby4336 @mybaby4336 with patience it's not to bad brother and I would go LS if u could brother n everything is the same brother just resurfaced the heads n replaced all gaskets and got a low profile oil pan

How do you drain the Freon
As far as I know brother, you would need to go to a shop that has a AC machine to remove the freon
Nice work did u still need to connect the power wire from starter to the power block on the fire wall?
I don't believe mine has the power block you speak of brother

Hopefully you don't mind me asking a question but I have a 2007 (gmt900) aluminum 5.3 but it has a 4L60e 4x4 transmission.... I'm wanting to put the 5.3 in a 1995 GMC rcsb..... But I don't want a 4L60e 4x4 transmission, Will a 6L80e from the same era hook up and work?

it was already deleted when the engine was delivered brother but I ended up buying hp tuners anyway lol

What do you do with all the bolts? Are you organizing them individually or all in one bucket?
I put them in zip lock bags brother n just label them
