If you can’t figure that out your self you shouldn’t be in a motor pal. They line up with top lip of head exhaust pointing forward intake pointing towards the rear. When you take it apart look at that kind of stuff, line up your crank marks and cam dots with head your good.
Gotta get mine going too. Having issues with the valve stem seals. Going to try some oil like you used

Jesse Hoff that hand blender is a valve lapping tool off eBay and the compressor is from Rocky Mountain atv but I’m sure you can find them all over
