Amtrak is honesty pretty cool, its more fun and relaxing than flying
TBH if you have a mid-length route, Amtrak is actually pretty fire. I just took it from Jacksonville, FL to Orlando, FL. Took 2 and a half hours. It beats the drive ten-fold and my ticket was only $18. Was cheaper than gas.

Monster seats are the best in baseball. Its a trippy experience to be outfield with a close view of the game. No other stadium has a view like it.
100% as a Yankees fan I gotta admit Fenway is the best stadium in baseball and the green monster is the best viewing experience in baseball.

My green monster memory: my birthday, wife pregnant with our 1st kid.
Mookie Betts line drive carries up over the wall and hits my pregnant wife in the ribs. She was OK! Saw the ball next to me and a kid swiped it up. He would not be bought off - rightly so.
Fenway staff were awesome and gave her a little care package with some Fenway dirt to go along with her bruise. I bought a glove the next day.

Everyone's depth perceptions were out of whack up there so we thought it'd be an easy fly out but it carried.

I haven’t been to Fenway in 6 or 7 years. We had third row right field seats that got upgraded to the suites after we sat down. 3rd inning and a ball was hit right to the row we were sitting in, no one else was near the ball. It would have been my first and so far only chance to catch a home run ball.
That’s really sad. I’m a season ticket holder for the Red Sox. I’ve come close to catching home runs but never actually caught one.

My last time at Fenway park was a beautiful sunny July afternoon....in 1991. Wow! Time flies. Boggs and Clemens still played for them.
I went to Fenway about a month ago and it was so fun. Someone proposed on the green monster, Neil diamond song Sweet Caroline live, and I gave one of my business cards to someone in the cardinals bullpen!

This was the most enjoyable train commercial I've ever seen.
From Spokane, Washington and maybe 15 years ago I was doing "the east coast trip" with my highschool (real small) and some guy on the street gave us like half a dozen free tickets to Fenway by the right foul pole. Must have seen a small bus full of children and was feeling generous. Most of the trip were able to go to a game unexpectedly one night.

I did this once, super awesome experience. everyone should do it at least once.
2004. I won 3 tickets in my first year playing little league for sportsmanship and skill. I lived in CT, so most of my friends and folks were Yankees or red Sox fans. During the little ceremony, they asked me who I wanted to win or something. I said something along the lines of "neither, go cardinals". Still a Redbird fan. I actually was also supposed to get a signed ball from the Blue Jay's (it was a Jay's vs red sox game) front office guy who awarded me it, but I guess he forgot because I never got it
Still bums me out, Delgado and so many others autographs (and IIRC I would have gotten a Red Sox autographed ball too).
Essentially I peaked when I was eight years old. Later won two more tickets to fenway in a pack of baseball cards but couldn't go.
I remember hating the seats but loved it. I also lost my innocence being exposed to Boston sports fans and their...creative obscenities. Good times

Certain Amtrak routes are the bomb. I avoid flying into LAX and instead fly to San Diego or Tijuana and take the Amtrak up the coast to downtown L.A. It takes longer (but not that much longer) and is chill and relaxing. I think it’s the Coast Starlight.

Took my kid to her first ballgame not long ago. My Bravos (now OUR Bravos!!!) at Coors Field. The family had a great time, and even better, the Braves got the W! All around great trip. And hopefully we'll sit on top of thw Monster one day!

From Kansas, and was at this game, first time at Fenway, been to many ballparks, but nothing compares to this experience. If you haven't been to Fenway make sure you do at some point t in your life. If you can make it a Yankees game, guessing 10 times better.

Moved to nyc a few months ago, didn’t even think about using amtrak to hit up all the ballparks in the NEC. Now the question is should i see the nats, phillies or orioles first?
Whichever you want. The commutes are easy. I’ve taken the train out of Penn station to Philly and got there in a quick couple of hours.
You can do the same to get to other cities like Baltimore, DC, Boston and so on.
Go to Camden yards. You won’t regret it. Phillies and nats are the textbook definition of “meh”

My last time at Fenway Park 2021 late August when the Red Sox played the rays, they ended up giving up five runs in the bottom of the seventh and losing to Tampa Bay
