What’s it like on the GREEN MONSTER for a playoff game?

- Have you ever been in the Green Monster Seats? I was there for Game 4 of the ALCS vs. the Houston Astros, and yes, it was nuts! How close did I come to the home runs hit by Alex Bregman and Xander Bogaerts? How was the clam chowder that I bought from a vendor? How bad was my attempt at doing a Boston accent?
From the bus-inspired silliness outside the stadium to the "secret" hand signals I made for my friend chasing baseballs on the garage to the conversation I had with a member of the Red Sox analytics department, this was a VERY fun and interesting day.

I've been a Sox fan since 1965 yet never had the pleasure to get in Fenway, the one time I got to go, it was rained out. This video is much appreciated !!!

I’m not a Red Sox fan but I love Fenway park, how iconic it is, how it’s one of the oldest stadiums out there. The looks, etc.
Fenway Park is my favourite baseball park. Was there for the first time in 2004 to see the Jays play and fell in love. The thought of Ted Williams (greatest & smartest player of all time) sends chills down my spine. The addition of the monster seats and other roof top seats hasn’t taken away from the beauty of this baseball cathedral. The colour pallet is stunning! Sky dome is a close second because I’ve seen hundreds of games there, including a World Series game. I love how the vendors toss the peanut bags from a distance to your seat. Is this heaven?

It is such a wonderful park. My dad and I got to sit front row of the Green Monster and it is one of my favorite experiences I've ever shared with my dad, and we're not even Red Sox fans(We're Braves fan). We just love going to ballparks and we just loved the history of Fenway, especially since it was where the Braves won their first World Series(as the Boston Braves). It truly was an awesome experience

Fenway is indeed a magical experience. Whenever you go, don’t get grandstand seats. Those seats were made for humans 100 years ago.
One thing that took me back was how much greener everything was in person, and the lights are way brighter than I imagined. I always thought Fenway had bad lighting from watching on TV. The seats are tiny and uncomfortable, but it's all about the retro feel so I didn't mind. Great park.

@@greysonG10 in the 80's 90's it was definitely a lot dimmer. They upgraded in the early 2000s and lit up the park

That game was an insane one. It was also really funny to watch the red sox fans lose their minds at that altuve HR. Then the 9th inning you could see the shock on their faces. I feel bad for them but let's go astros

Hey, I made a brief appearance in the video and you can hear me going nuts after you got your first ball of the day. I'll take it. Great seeing you several times down this year and we GOT to be able to meet up again next year when you go to Fenway. Two balls for me that night as well. I'm really glad my dream came true this season and I finally got to meet you (and on many occasions). The best experience by far was being able to be there for Game 4 of the ALDS for one of your most memorable games ever and your most epic game of the season. You deserve a break from RUclips with all you do during the season again, but yet I wanna see more videos. Q&A Part 26 soon? Lineup cards? I hope for some offseason content... definitely more than last year, but rest up this offseason when the World Series ends.

Thats so cool going to the nlcs playoff game Astros vs red sox, so lucky I wish I could go to Fenway Park one day that would be cool, and hopefully snag my first ball.
My Dad is a Twins fan because he grew up in Duluth and I brought his hat to a Mariners game and got a ball from a player. Its the best it was my first. Zack would like it because the words were a little beat up 😀

Hey Zack, I love your videos. If you get a chance, come to Savannah Ga for a Savannah Bananas game. It will be the most fun you ever had at a ball game, with entertainment throughout the night.
The only player to throw me a ball was David Robertson when he was with The Yankees. I was in the bleachers for Rays and Yankees at the stadium when they went 14 innings. D Rob threw one up to me and it went into the benches and a Rays fan got there before I could and took it. I was mad cause I called for it. When I did no one was near me. Still a memorable moment. I’ve never had a player throw me a ball.

A buddy of mine got a foul ball at the final game at Truist Park before the Braves went to Postseason, what happened was one flew almost towards us, but landed a couple of rows in front of us, which I told him "expect another one coming towards us soon", little I knew I was right, when one of the Mets players was at bat with Luke Jackson pitching, it was game on, two outs, and then there was a crack of a bat, looked up and I was like "oh shit, oh shit, that ball's heading towards us!!!!" hit my mom right on the shoulder, ricocheted off and dented the top of my buddy's lid, I quickly told him "better grab it!" because there come a mob full of people. Once he got it, they went back to their seats.
I used Hit Tracker years ago to snag BP and and gamers at Wrigley section 501-505 bleachers. The key was to go during nasty cold wet weather and avoid the first row where everyone else was. // That awesome track at 9:50 is "Watch Out Now" by The Beatnuts! Love that song. I had it on vinyl and spun it with heavy rotation in college during the late 90s, early 2000s (Technics 1200s).

No, not for a playoff game. Only been to 1 Red Sox playoff game, back in Oct 1990....it was horrible. haha. The result that is.
Have I watched a game from the Green Monster? Sure...a few times. It used to pay to be a member of Red Sox Nation (Nations Nest was fun), but now John Henry and crew are just interested in their FSG purchases....so it was poetic to watch the Boston Bruins today beat the John Henry Pittsburgh Penguins at Fenway Park. Hahaha.
