Having a pro explain it in simple terms like this is almost priceless. Oversanding is a real temptation especially as a carpenter. Would be nice to hear him explain his reasoning behind sanding sealer and its benefits and what happens if you dont use it. Also what concoctions he uses in his pressure pots. The pro's are always adding a little bit of this and a little bit of that to help with finish/application
I am sorry this was a collaborative effort and I do not have all the specifics that you are looking for. I do know that it was straight lacquer that he was spraying. Thanks for watching, Wes
With the setup in your spray booth the way you have it shown, is there any problem with over-spray or does the ventilation system take care of that? Just curious!

Don’t have a pro set up or spray booth, nice to see those. What reason for a paint sealer ( seal wood grain) why need to resand after
This was informative. Thanks! What size compressor for the pressure pots? What gun? Is that just lacquer? What ratio to thinner?

I Hate overspray best way is just keep the item your spraying next behind you . mind you I spray in a booth in an industrial vent
What spray gun is he using with the pressure pot?
At least for the harbor freight setup, it comes with its' own gun. I imagine others do as well.
I hear that spraying Lacquer can be a serious fire hazard if not handled properly. Would be nice to know what precautions were taken.
Wasn’t one tip on spraying. This was a video about sanding sanding sealer.
Having a shop where you can make and spray boxes is nice….but having dovetails in those boxes would be more money 💰 💴 in the bank.
Spend more time on explaining
Pot pressure how to thin lacquer, spray pressure etc.
Less time sanding and spraying.
I hear you - I am thinking about making a video just on spraying techniques. Thanks for the suggestion! Wes
We need to know the compressor type, the pressures out of the pots and the specific products you're using, otherwise this video is not helpful.
I'd cover up mate, don't want that stuff on your skin!
Weak vid. Leaves lots of questions.
