Proper musicians and performers don't need 'hype!'

The McGarrigles were pure and unique gems. So glad I got to see them perform a number of times. Their music makes the heart soar. RIP dear Kate.

I'll just say, "ditto", and add that I still tear up at times when listening... happy OR sad.

Les commentaires des auditrices à la fin de la vidéo ne changent en rien pour moi : je demeure un FAN des deux soeurs. Qu'elles soient en anglais ou en français, j'adore leurs chansons.

Thank you for putting this up. They were popular in Ireland back in the day. Rip Kate.

Those who call them "sloppy" are missing the point. They are following the grand transition of community music when people get together and make music for pure joy. Perfection isn't the point. You never know for sure who will turn up so the music is different every time. This kind of music is still made all over. They were just such amazing writers, and unique, unmatched.

This is the second video I've seen in which an interviewer called them 'sloppy' to their faces - whether they are or not, it's unbelievably rude. If you can't find a more tactful way of putting it, you have no business being an interviewer.

@@hilariousname6826 how about the interviewer representing a view by some of the public?
That is what any good interviewer can do: presenting what lives among the public and give the artist(s) an opportunity to comment on that. The sisters were not exactly upset, eh?

@@hilariousname6826 you seem to apply someone's quote in the wrong place because it fits you, not because it is relevant. Life has definitely its unpleasant sides, but should not be part of an interviewers questions? Are you for real?

The artist has done a crap job of portraying Anna, but this is an awesome video! Great shame nobody seems to have discovered it!

Fan des deux soeurs d'origine irlandaise, je me réjouis de voir cette vidéo dans RUclips.
