    I have a very bored router that sits behind the T-Mobile obelisk. The Ninja V2 appears to be the perfect solution for me.

    HI!~ Thank you for the video...Which modem would you pick? InvisaGig or Ninja V2? I know Ninja is a little better,but what is your choice? Thanks.

    Does this allow for portforward? I'm having issues gaming, I can't connect to online games because of udp

      @nickpapagiorgio2253 8 месяцев назад

      No, there is no port forwarding with T-Mobile as you do not get a static IP. There are ways to obtain one either by getting a T-Mobile business account and another way that's escaping me right now

    Does this offer QOS? I would like to use it with my mesh (eero 6 pro in bridge mode)

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  7 месяцев назад

      It does not, its designed to be used with your own router which sounds like you are planning to do. So you'd use the Eero QoS.

    What kind of gaming router should I buy to hook up with T-mobile home internet to reduce ping ?

    • @1980ajt
      @1980ajt Год назад

      I connected an old linkys router to it and connecting my series s to it via wired connection. Works amazing! If youre talking nintendo, it wont work unless you dig for an external router with lots of extra settings like ip pass through and ipv6passthrough, as nintendo doesnt support ipv6.

    I am having trouble using Nord VPN with my new T-Mobile. will nor work at all. if I spend the money for a Ninja V2 or a Cheetah can I use the service like I can with Comcast? also I get 406 down and 55 up but when I hook the gateway to my ASUS RT-AX88U router it drops to 94 down and 53 up. will the Cheetah fix that?

    I'm considering T-Mobile & have questions. Can this router be used instead of the T-Mobile provided one for Home Internet? I had heard service is locked to their routers. Would this router solve the T-Mobile double NAT issue when using one's own router/mesh system? Thanks!

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  Год назад +2

      It can be used, you'll need to email Chester Tech Repairs to pre-configure (free) it so it'll work. IP passthrough helps but much of the problem with "double NAT" is tmobile's CGNAT which is inherent in their network and not affected by the modem. You might be better suited for the Cheetah which is more user friendly.

      @@1980ajt Do you know how I can solve this issue using a IQrouterv3? I seem to have incredibly high latencies after adding this router and I'm wondering if it has to do with double NAT. I do want to mention that I am a complete noob when it comes to networking. I have disabled the wifi on my T-Mobile gateway

    So, *WHY* would I want a Gateway? *WHY* would I want to use IP Passthru? Why are you wasting time explaining ... how to screw in the antennas and connecting the AC-DC power supply?

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  11 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not sure of your situation or why you would want them. I'd assume you don't by the question, this video covers *HOW* to make the changes. The order of the antenna connection matters.
