Dear Nate and Kara the two of you have inspired me a 60 year old woman with chronic back and foot pain. I have done little to no exercising because of the amount of pain I feel when I even just try to do the dishes. You have inspired me to go back to physical therapy once more and to start doing chair exercises and work my way up to going for walks. I've been wanting to go for a long leisurely for along time just seeing you walk and run in pain has given me inspiration to try myself. So I won't have cheer leaders and a crew team but I may lose some more weight in the process that will be my cherry on top of the pie. Say a prayer for me if you don't mind . Sincerely Beth G. Peace be with you!. As you travel to new and better journeys. ❤🎉😊

I'll cheer you on Beth, as a fellow 'chair dweller', I also have dodgy knees, dodgy back and I'm overweight (I need to add that the pain came BEFORE the weight) I salute you for making the start. It is hard when pain hits and it's a catch 22 position, you stop moving so much because you're in pain and you gain weight because you stop moving, which leads to more pain. You can do this 💖💖

Today I set out for a run, and having just landed for a work trip at 6,600 feet of elevation, it was painful from the first few minutes. And I thought: "Do something hard," and "Nate would have just observed that it sucks and kept going," and I did! I ran 34 straight minutes for the first time in ages, moving through suck many times. I want to say thank you to the editor's and guy who was filming so Kara could concentrate on Nate. All of you did a fantastic job at building a great story that became very emotional. Early on in the careers of Kara and Nate they talked about how they wants to build a base of scribers that felt as though they were friends. These last to long videos have fit perfectly into that idea. To see Kara and Nates family and friends (that we've gotten to know over the years) cheering him on was absolutely fantastic. Gotta love his grandpa and his limerick was so funny. Love the long form and we were glued to the tv. Id love to see more long form video's!

I just felt that was important so my husband does not get mad at me for everyone thinking it was him crying LOL) Kara, I lost it after he left for the race at the start. I could not hold back the tears then you lost it and it was all over and the hugs between you and his mama. Lost it even more. We love to watch ultra's and have watched so many but to know the person like we do Nate..I cried the whole footage. At 1:36:29 to see Nate's mama's face while Y'all helped him up and seeing her concern about her baby. Lost it. Then when Nates PAPA ran with him and Nate's story of him being so small and what he committed to in order to just keep up with Nate. LOST IT. Then Dusty comes in and I see how proud he is of his brother. Lost it. WHo am I kidding? I lost it the whole video. Favorite sign, "hurry up Nate Kara needs her coffee." I loved Loved loved this. Like probably my favorite in all the years I have followed you. Your entire team was inspirational, y'all were amazing. If I could repost this 1,000 times to shut out the haters of this kind of content. I would. Love you guys and we thank you for sharing your incredible lives with us.

Far out- this is epic and so inspiring. My 19 year old son visited me last weekend, he has been in the Australian Defence Force as Infantry not even a year and is smashing it. I can imagine being beyond proud of Nate, Kara, as I liken it to myself being in awe of my son. He talked me into just doing a 5km run with him last weekend, I haven’t run or even been to the gym in 20 years. I’m out of shape and it hurt. But as we ran and he encouraged me, I felt so blessed to be able to do that with him. Running in the pouring rain, with my son who is about to go on a 6 week Recon program. I just felt so proud to be running beside him.
Nate- you are incredible to be able to push yourself but also stay a decent human being in a challenging situation.
Kara- your encouragement and love for Nate is astounding: it’s amazing what can get us through.

I've run 50k ultras and I've been crewing for a friend for a couple years now with her 120mile, 200mile, and next 240mile ultras and I have volunteered at lots of aid stations or been the 'sweep' runner for sections --- and no matter how many times I am at the start , mid , end of these events - I always cry ... because it's so f&*king brave and all that energy from all the crew and crowd focused in one place, it's holy and beautiful. One of the mottos we use is - 'forward is a pace'.. (which was Nate at 44min or so) and it has been such a big help at low times for me when I did 50ks, and for other runners I encounter now and for all the people!! I’ve seen hundreds of your videos, but there’s something special about this one. It wasn’t just the amazing accomplishment, but that this video highlights the beauty of human love. Thank you for reminding me there’s so much good in people. We knew you were strong, physically and mentally, but thank you for showing us your heart and that of your closest friends and your family. Loved, loved this video. Congratulations Nate, Kara and the rest of your amazing crew❤

What is so great about your videos is the sense of community that you have built and how you continue to go back to them, making great shared memories with Rick and Bec year after year!! Sure, it may not be off-screen much with viewers but I really love how you bonded with Rick and Bec family and continue to challenge yourself to push out of your comfort zones to do something as monumental as running 100 miles in the high Colorado elevation coupled with various terrains. I really love how you guys embody the community spirit and it is so evident in your vlogs!! The last 2 vlogs are hands down one of the best vlogs I've seen from Kara and Nate to this date, and I'm so glad to be a part of this community where we vicariously live their lives through their lens. ❤
And Rick, kudos to you for finishing the race with your one and only functioning lung! I had no clue that you had an accident many years back! Rick especially is a huge inspiration to me as I try conquering my life's challenges in a sportive, motivated, and a "can-do" mindset! ❤❤❤

I’ve said this before and I’m gonna say it again…I truly hope that you both realize how much y’all help some of us. When I’m in a dark place (like right now w some health issues) I put y’all on and I start to feel better. Thank you both for that. ❤️
