@@TopStrikerMaverick Be careful of that carbs... be careful at portions too, and keep measurements, the scale is tricky, you think you didn't lose weight but maybe you build more muscle, so if you feel a little bulky since then maybe that's the reason. Happened to me too, i felt so much slimmer and i saw this on my clothes too but my scale was the same even adding some pounds. I found out that was muscle gaining + losing fat, so my scale was the same but the results were pretty obvious on my body. If this isn't the case talk with a professional, maybe you need something to fit your body, metabolism etc.

To kick start my diet I was eating 2 entire pizzas per week, but I was only eating about 2500 calories per day and eating only 4 days per week for 10k calories per week total. I’ve found as a 40 year old male that if you keep you caloric intake roughly around 2 to 2200cals or less per day, strength train at least 3 times per week, and just get outside and walk 3.5 to 5 miles daily, you can pretty much not have to worry about an altered diet as long as you aren’t gorging and eating pizza, as mentioned, for every meal.
I don’t drink pop during the week and if I do drink alcohol on the weekends its usually Tequilla and lemon/lime squeeze.
The best part about it is to me at least it does not take that much will power which makes it pretty sustainable. This is coming from a guy with a desk job.
You won’t lose 5lbs in 2 weeks but you will lose and keep it off if you stick with it over time.

One item that may have been missed in this video that I find important, especially with the pizza-fries-potato chips, is combining high glycemic carbs with large amounts of fat. The carbs super spike your insulin and then all the added fat gets easily stored around the waistline, making it the worst combination of any 2 macros.

Last week I decided to vastly mitigate bread, sugar, and dairy. I have cut 5lbs. I also discovered I might have gluten and/dairy sensitivity based on some of the highly notable differences. Kinda hard not snacking, but the improvements are encouraging, so I’m going to stay after this for a month and see how it goes. Oh, Pro-tip: add a teaspoon of salt to your electrolyte pack in a 24oz shaker bottle full of cold water. Helps a lot with sugar and salty cravings

    Easiest ways to lose fat:
    1. Quit the soft drinks and alcohol ASf***inAP. Drink more water
    2. Eat fruit and veg and whole foods and reduce fast food
    3. Go for a brisk walk for at least 30 mins a day.

Well, I say limit fruits though, cause they do contain sugar. There's this back and forth argument about how fruits contain a different kind of sugar, but...does your body know the difference? More emphasis on protein and veggies. Still though, eating a pear is way better than a gallon of ice cream,

@@alexanderc7213 the sugar in fruit is not “empty” in the way it is when you get it from a soda. Imagine drinking a large apple vs a 12 oz can of coke, both are about the same calories, but which one fills you up? To a degree it’s not so much about what you’re eating, rather it’s about eating foods that satisfy your hunger.

Fullness in stomach, thank you for telling this crucial element.
Potato and watermelon create fullness in the stomach, croissant doesn't, and neither beer, soda, and alcohol, despite their high calories.
And high calories without fullness means net extra fat after filling stomach with other real food.
