Chicken Scratch Apologetics. Jehovah's Witnesses are always changing what they believe is accurate truth. Here are 5 beliefs that have change, and changed again and again, in the short time the religion has been around.
As a person that was once an active JW, you have explained so simply in this video how dumb and hypocritical that religion is. Thanks.

It's funny...but also sad how I've learned more about the Jehovah’s Witnesses, their history, and their ever changing doctrine as a former JW than I ever did as a JW sitting in a Kingdom Hall or doing "personal study".

I realized within weeks of the "so called bible study" (thinking it is a bible study) not indoctrination of JW doctrine. Fortunately I read the bible from beginning to end, and just wanted to understand it better, not change religion, as I was quite happy with my religion. I confronted the woman of the changes in her religion and she wanted to know I have found out. I told her God revealed me to do research. She wanted nothing to do with me after that and told me I would be destroyed at Armageddon together my my husband and baby. I told her she was a hypocrite.
Yes, JW's don't give bible studies they give Watchtower studies.
But isn't the God you worship going to destroy JWs? What's the difference? You believe the witness will die just like the witness believes you will die when it's all a fantasy to begin with.

A lot of them just had one of their assembly’s that they often have. My husband couldn’t have said it better, they’re preparing them like when salesman attend large conferences/ conventions to refresh your memory and get you all pumped up when you come out of them. Just more ways to further brainwash and make sure you’re so deep rooted in their word you will never question it.

In the spring of 1950 JWs walked into their places of worship (not sure if they had Kingdom Halls back then) worshiping and glorifying Jesus. In that meeting they learned the New Light that it was wrong to worship Jesus. When they came out they no longer worshiped Jesus. Hard to imagine what they must of felt in their minds and heart.
If the JWs in 1950 were anything like the JWs in 2023, they didn't care! They'll believe _anything_ the GB tells them to believe- no matter how biblically baseless the "new light" is, how long they held the old belief, or whether or not the new belief made any sense whatsoever.
In fact, JWs are almost euphoric when, in an indirect way, the GB lets them know the belief they've held for decades was a FALSE belief. Rather than being insulted or bothered by the idea they were hoodwinked on a massive scale, JWs simply shrug their shoulders in apathy and accept the new belief with the same gullibility that they accepted the old belief.
JWs are so used to being duped by WT they'll just accept this pattern as a matter of course. This is why most JWs don't even know what WT's current view is on any given doctrine, and they don't care. Why get emotionally invested in any doctrine that likely has an expiration date shorter than an avocado?
Wonder if that's recorded in their bible tracts somewhere.....

I studied with the Jehovah Witnesses in 1983 for two years and could not get baptized because the HOLY SPIRIT said NO!!!!
I left and almost 10 years later I understood why? I was going to be one of the BRIDE and experienced the rapture in 1992:
If Jesus was before Abraham, we have to ask, what did Jesus mean by this? He also said ABRAHAM SAW MY DAY and was glad. 1) why was Abraham glad and 2) when did that happen? If you can answer those two questions, you probably will totally understand Jesus, no more questions asked and nothing in the whole Bible will ever contradict again by simply understanding the answer to those two questions: So let me answer them quick and soundly:
1) Abraham was glad because the LIGHT circumcised his heart (the three animate levels he cut in half, which represent his DESIRES, hence the heart is the DESIRE of man which is why it is written to be more wicked and feeble than all things. The heart is the problem and it is written, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, so here is blasphemy and evil tongue (lashon hora) as well. Making the heart which is the BEAST that goes throughout the whole world, all nations, and all Kingdoms, into "MAN" is the purpose of the WORD which is Jesus Christ, the WORD made flesh. SO the LIGHT that is the LIFE of MAN (not mankind which is the creation) but MAN, the image and likeness of God. God creates evil (creature) and then FORMS the MAN within the creation. This too is written: So Abraham the first Jew, discovers the purpose of creation which is to be FORMED into MAN which separates his consciousness into three parts; God, Satan or the great darkness that the light reveals and MAN, the purpose of learning how these two together FORM this MAN we all must become.
2) The LIGHT goes through the animate desires when it gains a GREATER DESIRE than the animate and makes its first choice to trust the UNKNOWN (God) in favor of the known that is no longer giving him the desires of his animate heart. Now, if he follows the light that reveals himself to Abraham little by little, then he moves in consciousness from Beast to MAN in four phases, hence the FOUR LETTER NAME YHVH:

There is NO ROOM in the INN (Inner court, Holy Place, so Dan 9 and Math 24 explain, here is the ABOMINATION that causes all desolations in the earth: Muslims understand all this comes in a vision hence Zechariah 12 is a VISION the JEWS are waiting for, the serpent lifted up: It comes first to the house of David and then the other Mary's at the cross: The FOUR gospels are the FOUR PHASES of correction which is why there are differences in them; JOHN is the final phase or the renewing of the CARNAL MIND (Mary Magdalene) who could not cleave to Jesus till he ascends, meaning till the HEART is fully corrected and this is the place he makes ready for the nations to also enter into the Kingdom, the tabernacle of David, a HOUSE OF PRAYER for all nations:

With respect and humility, you have misunderstood the words of Christ. In flesh, He explained He would not always be with them in flesh, but following His death and resurrection He and His Father would come to their hearts and tabernacle with them. John 14:15-29.
Throughout time and until He returns, there will always be poor persons, poor in spirit and basic needs for survival. Just as there will always be rich persons. Both life situations demand us to learn valuable lessons of God by the helper, the Holy Spirit.
Note the parables, Good Samaritan, His teachings of us giving provision to widows and orphans and His healings of the sick/ lame.
Anything we own is given to us by God’s provision alone, our allotted portion, and we are to share with our brethren who need it. Like Jesus who fed the starving crowds that followed Him to hear His teachings.
Love thy neighbour as thyself, the new commandment from Jesus. I could continue with Jesus’s examples of us having compassion and charity to the less fortunate but I will finish with the scriptural example of Matthew 25: 34-46.
The free gift of the Holy Spirit sent by Jesus to us, convicts us of our sinful hearts and sanctifies our hearts and minds. Until He returns, and we shall be like Him 1. John 3: 1-3
God said, “Be Holy,”
This was not a command but a promise, and He will do this in His merciful love for us. Otherwise we, of ourselves, would fail miserably.
So continual joy, compassion, tolerance, patience, and doing eternal good towards our fellow man are visible fruits of the Holy Spirit workings in us.
This is putting Christ first, centre, forwards and behind-in us.
This world is temporary and we have a forever home in His Kingdom. May He bless you and keep you. May His face and His grace shine upon you….and give you peace. 🙂

They claim that Jesus inspected all religions in 1919 and chose them as the only true religion, so any mistakes in doctrine thereafter must have come directly from God, right JWs?
You would think!
The irony of this claim is: While WT was claiming god inspected, and approved, of them in 1919, they were still teaching the _same_ doctrines and engaging in the _same_ practices (i.e. celebrating Christmas) they were allegedly disciplined for prior to 1919, where the WT leadership was imprisoned and WT activities shut down allegedly as a punishment from Jehovah for being tainted with "Babylonish" religion.
So, how is that Jehovah punished WT for being spiritually corrupt, then he approved of them despite not making ANY changes at all? This kind of "logic" can only be believed by a JW.

I am not a Bible scholar, but there seems to be a wide consensus that the NIV (New International Version) is the most accurate English translation of the Bible to date. From their website:
"The NIV Bible was produced by more than one hundred scholars working from the best available Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts."
Nasb, esv, Niv, all good reads and very accurate. Nasb is probably the closest from Greek to English, Esv I personally believe does a better job with the Hebrew, Niv reads much smoother than both. All will give the same message, same level of study, so might come down to personal preference. So I've decided to move away from the NWT as the best start. And soak up the info from various unbiased channels.

The Apostle Paul pronounced a curse on most churches today because the main Christian denominations of today preach a different gospel than what Paul preached. To quote exactly what Paul said, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8). Both apostle Paul and Peter preached the same gospel and quote from the prophet Joel (2:32) saying, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21). The English translations say “Lord” instead of “Yahweh.” But “Lord” does not translate “Yahweh” it is a substitution of a totally different word altogether. This substitution activates two additional curses because if you substitute a word you are both adding and subtracting at the same time. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18, 19)
We are commanded by Messiah that, “...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47). In other words, we are supposed to preach the gospel that came out of Jerusalem and not preach the gospel that came out of Antioch, or Rome, or England, or New York, or Chicago, etc. By the time the gospel got to Antioch it had already been perverted as we read, “...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). The problem with this is that YHWH spoke of a people called by His name (Deuteronomy 28:10; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; Daniel 9:19; Amos 9:12; Acts 15:17). YHWH did not choose the name “Christian” for Himself. The people of Antioch chose that name and all the so called main denominations of today embrace that name “Christian” for themselves. When Peter and Paul preached the gospel they quote the prophet Joel, “Whosoever shall call on the name of YHWH shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13). The English word "Lord" is not a translation for the name YHWH but is a substitution. I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none!
Paul makes it very clear that the end result of him preaching the gospel was that the people would call on the name YHWH. He says in (Rom. 10:14,15), The preachers are sent. They preach. The people hear. The people believe. The people call on the name YHWH (Rom. 10:13). I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none!
It took only one generation after the death of Joshua for the children of Israel to forget the mighty works of YHWH which He had worked through Moses and Joshua and to began to serve the idols of the people around them (Judges 2:7-13). It took only one generation!

Jesus asked Peter three times, "Do you love me?" And three times Peter said "Yes". After each time, Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep."
In the parable (not a prophecy) of the faithful slave, that one was to give food (feed others) at the proper time. Is Peter that slave?

We are all told to spread the gospel. (Feed truth to the world). Does that make all of US that slave to the rest of mankind?
Jesus APPOINTS a slave (Matthew 24:45-47). We cannot appoint ourselves.

Not saying 'no' is a yes. This is a fundamental principle in secular law that can be applied to Russell. If he didn't want people to mistakenly think he was the F&DS, he could have corrected them. He didn't.
This is your objection? Russel never denied he was the FDS, and that's just as good as an admission, but that still doesn't address the OTHER FDSs throughout their tainted history.

WT has been confused on this topic of the FDS for their entire history. They've taken a *parable* and interpreted it literally, then proceeded to muddy the waters repeatedly about their own doctrine.

Jehovah's Witnesses are the public Christian temple for 110 years from 1886-1996. There is no recognized temple for 2300 evenings and mornings. That breaks down to 1150 days; an evening and morning equal one day. The covenant period ends in 1996. 1260 years begins in 736 AD. So from 736 for 1150 years to 1886 there was no recognized temple because the pagan Easter celebration replaced the Lord's Supper at Passover. But in 1886 the International Bible Students did not celebrate Easter and did celebrate the annual Lord's Supper on Passover. Thus they became the "temple in its right condition" for the final 110 years of the covenant.
Jehovah's Witnesses easily fulfill Matthew 24:14. NH Knorr went on a worldwide speaking tour early in 1947. On November 29, 1947 the "end" of Jewish exile came.
But there is another problem. The man of lawlessness takes over God's house and makes itself a god and thus becomes the man of lawlessness. That means whichever organization is the temple, it will produce the man of lawlessness.
Just as the Bible says, the true religion will be a mixture of wheat and weeds. The decision is not to separate the wheat from the weeds until the harvest. At any rate, the church age ended in 1996; when the Jewish covenant also ended.
So stated rather loosely, the Watchtower Society is the true religion for only 110 years from 1886 to 1996. Now the leadership of the Watchtower Society is apostate and the man of lawlessness. They are now the five foolish virgins about to be rejected by Jesus Christ. The Governing Body was disfellowshipped on November 10, 1992.

According to JWs, God spared this Jonadab class who would be 91 years old here in 2023 if born in 1932 and still alive, 85 years old today if they were born in 1938, babies!!!

I agree (more or less) with your interpretation of the bible, and clearly this contradicts the JW interpretation. I’m a fairly lax Christian now and would really like to ask you some fundamental questions about the bible and faith. Id like to see if you can back up your belief without using circular reasoning by claiming that the bible is self-authenticating.

First, I don't trust the Bible because it says it's self-authenticating, otherwise I'd believe in any book that made that claim. I trust the Bible, first because of the resurrection of Christ, I think it's a historical fact that Jesus existed, died by the Romans, and was seen alive after, and all his followers went to their deaths claiming they saw and spoke with the risen Christ. Apart from the Bible, this is history. Even sceptics will admit this. If this is true, Christ wouldn't leave us with nothing, second because the text holds up to scrutiny, and seems historically reliable, and does have attributes of Devine intervention, like fulfilled prophecy.
Secondly, if the book is from God, it would have to be self-authenticating. You can't have God's word telling us that it isn't the source of all truth pertaining to God and how we know him. If there was something superior and this really was from God, and it wasn't the final say, it would give us another option. However the Bible doesn't, but makes the claim that it's Words are truth. Jesus himself is self-authenticating, claiming to the be Messiah and proving it by showing miracles. So I treat those as the same. If Jesus can say, I'm the way, the truth and the life, and make a claim of, "listen and follow me only, because I said so" that only works if it's actually true, and he had miracles and coming back from the dead to prove it. Hope that makes sense, on my way out the door, but love to talk about it more.

Addressing your second point first, you say if it was Gods word it would be self authenticating. Well yes, but that relies on a supposition that it is God’s word. So that doesn’t really tell me anything.
To your first paragraph, the existence of Christ (who I genuinely believe in and could pass a lie detector test to prove it) can’t be proven, and it is not the established secular historical view that Christ was executed and was seen again. There may be highly disputed sources, but that is by no means accepted by the academic community (otherwise there could be no question that the bible is correct). As for fulfilled prophecy, well secular historians, theologians and archaeologists dispute the authenticity of the prophecies. For example, Daniel is considered to be a fraud, with prophecies written around the time of the fulfilment (rather than hundreds of years prior) and then making predictions that didn’t come true. Aleppo, for example, is not an uninhibited wasteland. Claiming wins and dismissing fails is like selling all the losing positions in a portfolio and claiming that you only back winners.

Matthew talks about the second coming happening within a generation of the first sign, which is a world war. The "end" is not Armageddon but the end of the gentile times, which ended on November 29, 1947. So Armageddon is not included as one of the signs. But the great tribulation is. The great tribulation of Matthew 24 is a reference to the Holocaust. The "holy ones" are the Jews.
1914 is the year we began the last generation which ends in 1994. We know from the VAT4956 that year 37 of Nebuchadnezzar actually fell in 511 BCE. That means year 19 fell in 529 BCE. Thus we must apply the 7 times prophecy of 2520;years to 529 BCE, which gives us the true date of the second coming in 1992. Of course, 1992 occurs before the end of the generation in 1994.
Armageddon begins the millennium and so it is an event left to God's discretion. But the second coming must occur in 1992.

JWs believe that they are the only true religion on Earth. Members believe that outside their faith there is literally no hope of salvation so therefore their religion has to be "The Truth"
That is why JWs ask "If this is not "The Truth" then what is?"
I find this disturbing. As a Man of God I would in a loving way ask a JWs family member this sincere non threatening question, "I am curios to know. Do you honestly whole heartedly believe that Jehovah and Jesus exists?"
They would say "Absolutely!" Don't reply and just wait a day or two later and then ask the exact same question. Repeating this over and over.
Eventually they will get upset and say "How many times are you going to ask me that question?" "I told you that I do believe that Jehovah and Jesus exists!" "Why don't you believe me?" Then say "Well with all due Respect, "Don't you believe that JWs is the only true religion and that outside this faith there is literally no hope for salvation?"
They'll say "Yes"' Then say I want you to please think deeply about this "Outside this religion there's literally no hope for salvation, correct?" "But does Jehovah and Jesus exist outside this religion?"
They will be confused. Clarify by saying, "You're convinced JWs is "The Truth" but if one day you found out it wasn't "The Truth" then ask yourself would you stop believing that Jehovah and Jesus exists?" "Would you still believe Jehovah and Jesus exist?"
Hopefully they will see the logic and say "Even if JWs weren't "The Truth" I would still believe that Jehovah and Jesus exist" Then you say "Wow! You just said if JWs is not "The Truth"

There’s over 30,000 Christian denominations. Every religion has been made up. Can pick apart every single one. The main doctrines of Christianity that survived are due to it becoming the state religion of Rome and they destroyed the early Christian groups that were strictly Jewish, such as the Ebionites. There were also Marcionites, Thomasines, Manicheism, Ascetics, etc.
Nobody is rising up out of their graves or coming back from the dead in this reality we share. If you guys get out of one religion, don’t fall for the trap of falling in another. Reality is fascinating enough by itself without all the fables and fairytales.

Jesus said in Revelation 21:8,”But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, which is the second death.” Note that Brimstone is Sulfur and burns with a very strong odor of rotten eggs.
The scriptures above prove when a person goes to hell they will constantly see hell, constantly smell hell, constantly feel the heat of hell, will constantly breath hell, will constantly hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth of others in hell, will constantly be aware of their own worms, they will have no rest day or night, there is no way out and it will continue for ever and ever, they can’t die because they are already dead.
The following is how to not go there and it is a SIMPLE AND EASY thing to do:
All of the book of Acts is what Jesus disciples said what we must to be SAVED - meaning not go to hell, which is repentance, water baptism in Jesus NAME, (Not the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and being baptized with the Holy Ghost. Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED, but he that believes not shall be damned."
At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not name's) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time they invoked Jesus NAME at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16.
Jesus said in John 3:3-7,"Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man BE BORN AGAIN, he can not see the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water which is for the REMISSION OF SINS - meaning the INITIAL remission of sins and not the confessing of sins later addressed in 1 John 1:9. Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost. What being baptized with the Holy Ghost means is addressed in Acts 2:3-4, (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5 - which is when the Spirit of Christ initially dwells in a person. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:1-5 is a good example.
Paul said in Romans 8:9-11,”But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS."
Numbers 23:19, ”God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent, has he said and shall he not do it? And shall he not make it good?”
Malachi 3:6,”For I am the Lord, I change not...”
Hebrews 13:8,”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” That means there is no reason to think that Jesus will make an exception and save someone that has not been baptized in water in Jesus NAME, and has not been baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Some say the thief on the cross next to Jesus was not baptized yet Jesus told him he would be in paradise with him that day. Jesus had not given the COMMANDMENT to be baptized in HIS NAME until after he had risen from the dead and before he ascended into heaven. The thief on the cross could not have been baptized because he did not know about it.

Saying they are not perfect or that Jesus never said the slave will provide perfect spiritual food (which makes absolutely NO SENSE) is a mind trick to justify mistakes, mistakes that have cost hundreds of lives. Aren’t lives supposed to be precious to God? So why would he direct them to tell members vaccines are from the devil? Why would his spirit lead them to publish “truths” that getting an organ transplant is considered cannibalism & against the Bible, only to change their mind? Why would His spirit lead them to publishing “truths” that blood fractions violated God’s Law, only to change a decade later? How many lives were lost from life saving procedures deemed unscriptural coming from God, only for that to change?
So that’s not a viable excuse. No, that’s cognitive dissonance to put the square peg in the round hole to justify a belief. Prov. 4:18 has NOTHING to do w/ any light getting bright in regards to bible prophecy or Bible understanding. The entire 3rd & 4th chapters of Proverbs is Solomon giving admonition on how to live one’s life to his son or pupil. He contrast how living one’s life in righteousness is like a bright light vs. living a life full of debauchery is dark. That’s all.

Jesus died on a σταυρος "a cross." The fact that the word originally meant "stake" is meaningless, what did the word mean in the first century when the Gospel's were being written? The answer is "cross," as made clear by the early church fathers.
Num 21 isn't a prophecy.
Gal 3:13 says ξυλον which means anything made of wood. Pretty sure a cross was made of wood.
A cross is singular-it's one cross.
Last, according to BDAG, ξυλον can mean cross ... so you lied.
BDAG says Ξύλον means, an “(2) object made of wood … (c) a wooden structure used for crucifixion, *cross.”* and can mean, “(3) tree.”[1]

@Tonga Khan please read on in John. But not in their translation, thats called the new world translation and its not "translated" very well. It says the word was a god. They use an "a" to mean more than one god, and a little "g" to deny it being The GOD or Jehovah. They're not very good witnesses if they can't even get the translation correct, but I digress. John goes on to say, in verse 14, "The Word became flesh." The GOD, Jehovah, became flesh, to bear the light few would receive. Please note that last sentence was Garaphrased, because my name is Gary, but you can read it in the King Jimmy or the NIV, pretty much all standard translation are correct. I mean even the Message version gets it right. Because words mean things. The translation has to be correct, or it all falls apart. Let me know if I can help you more. A false teaching of Jehovah's Witnesses that needs to be exposed.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach Jesus ate Passover on Thursday night, was arrested, went to the Sanhedrin at sunrise, presented to Pilate, then sent to Herod, then sent back to Pilate for a trial at noon, they can't explain since they teach Jesus was impaled at 9 am, the third hour. It got dark at noon for three hours and Jesus died at 3 pm on Friday. He was in the grave two nights. This is a false teaching.
First, Passover is eaten on the first day of unleavened bread which ends on the 15th. Jesus ate the Passover on the 14th until midnight. The date changed at midnight to the 15th. The Israelites leave Egypt on the 15th the night of Passover. That means Jesus was arrested on the 15th. It's just that simple.
So when did Jesus die? Matthew 12:40 says Jesus is in the grave three nights. That requires Jesus to die on a Thursday; Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night. Simple.
But Jesus must also die on a day of preparation. The following Thursday, Nissan 20, was preparation for the 21st, the seventh day of unleavened bread.
So Jesus fulfills being the Passover lamb because Passover is a whole week. As long as he dies during Passover week, he fulfills being the Passover lamb.
The lambs are killed at the temple beginning at 3 pm on the day of preparation for the sabbath day of the first day of unleavened bread. Jesus died at 3 pm on preparation for the seventh day of unleavened bread.
Some other problems include the claim that the lambs are killed between sunset and nightfall. They claim everything was prepared for the meal except the slaughter of the lamb, which takes place immediately after sundown. But Luke clearly says the disciples were sent out on the day the lambs are customarily killed. Obviously, Passover is eaten on a sabbath day and the lambs are actually killed starting at 3 pm.
Now this is easy to correct. Problem is it is not being corrected in the Watchtower. It is being corrected out here in XJW Land.
The Governing Body was disfellowshipped on November 29, 1992. They were cast into spiritual darkness at that time. This is just one of their false teachings.

So, TRUE Christians are constantly being refined and keeps reaching for "the truth", while so many that were once Jehovah's Witnesses NEVER made a CRITICAL examination of the Bible, but were just ones who glossed over it, like my fleshly brother who was disfellowshipped for more than 30 years, and my 43 year old daughter who is disfellowshipped and NEVER took any effort to CAREFULLY study the Bible with humility, as Jesus said in prayer to Jehovah at Matthew 11:25: "I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children (or humble ones)."

In this present system of things or "world", there will always be the need to make adjustments ("from a Model T to a 2023 Lincoln") to recognize a change is in order, with knowledge increasing, with an understanding of the Bible as being no different. For example, at Luke 19, it says:

Jesus had to correct his disciples misunderstanding of when he would "secure kingly power", with them hoping he would have it "instantly" and release them from Roman subjugation right then and there, and that the Kingdom would "come" or Jesus "return" at Armageddon.(Luke 19:27; Matt 24:30)
To gain an accurate understanding of the Bible requires humility (Luke 18:14), requires intimately knowing Jehovah God (John 17:3), as Jesus said in prayer to him: "I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things (of accurately understanding "the Kingdom of the heavens", verse 12) from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children (or humble ones)."(Matt 11:25)
