- Join me in my reaction video as I debunk the myths and misinformation surrounding ECU remapping. From separating fact from fiction, to providing accurate information on the benefits and risks of this practice, you won't want to miss this eye-opening analysis. Get ready to learn the truth about ECU remapping and separate the real deal from the fake news! Remember folks, FB Groups are the dumbest place for you to ask about performance modifications, it's literally the blind leading the blind. And it takes someone like me to point out how severely wrong these people are.
Standard car mappings are usually conservative to allow for low quality gasoline in other areas in the world, if you live somewhere where the gasoline is 98/95 compared to for instance 85 there is quite a lot of leeway in the aggressiveness of the tuning possible powerwise.
Remapping is a personal choice. Everything depends on the throttle input. Remapping will use your more fuel only if you wish to always utilise the full power of the car which is also a very rare case. It’s basically just for a better response of how we like. It is a personal preference

so, safe to say that even after changing after market exhaust and you don't remap the ecu, is the engine safe from breaking? i saw others say that not remapping after muffler change can cause breakage in pistons (talking about motorcycles)
@@chini2W0motorcycles have less capable ecu’s. They have less parameters to compensate for the exhaust difference. Less sensors etc.

Marko and Ronald are examples of what gives internet a bad name. If you talk about factory and manufacturer w/o working for any car brand is just misconception. The real reason why people opt for remap (stock parts) is not for Power, but for drivability. A tuned ECU will yield a throttle that’s better to modulate. Unlike stock ECU where it’s either lethargic throttle or pedal to the metal, which is dizzying for passengers. Especially turbo engines. The real challenge is finding a reputable tuner who knows their stuff, backed by experience and hard work of on road driving conditions.
The throttle delay is for fuel efficiency. The harder you press, the faster you want will always require more fuel. If its true that a little more fuel will increase power is BS. Putting 1% more fuel will give you 10% more power is BS. No manufacturer will claim this. Otherwise why not add 10% and get 100% more power. There is law of diminishing returns. Kaya nga yung full race na black smoke is never fuel efficient. This speedlab guy is too scared to have online debate.
Remapped car users will disagree with you. Numbers will tell you that any reputable tuner can optimize stock fuel maps. And not only fuel maps are tuned, theres ignition, timing, and boost. Lots of parameters to optimize. Futhermore not all engines are the same, this aplies to the tune, they are blnot uniform for all. Lastly not all maps are full race. There are different stages which depends on the engines setup.
Sobrang dalang ng mga reliable fb groups regarding asking info and details on something. Puro mga cyber typer lang, type lang ng type, hindi nagiisip or walang isip. Inuuna kasi nila ang kayabangan, may masabi lang, gustong sumikat o magpasikat! This video will hit them on another level 😊

I agree. More power mas less ang fuel kasi mas mabilis mo makukuha cruising speed mo at the same time less pedal application on high speed unlike on stock ecu mabagal and grabe ang turbo lag.

Timing is power simply bumping timing adds power and increases efficiency. Cleaning up lean and rich spots in the fuel map also does wonders!

Hi sir . May I ask if I need to do a remap if I will just be replacing my catalytic converter to a X-delete pipe and just keep my stock pipes? I’m just up for a little more loudersound but actually like it with the deep sound of my stock pipe than having it really full exhaust system. Thank you.

factory adjust is the best adjustment, Why? they are so knowledgeable they are the one who made that engine they maximized all the parameters that is best to the engine, if you increase the power at mid rpm that you say its very beneficial to the engine then i dont agree. I will only agree if you make your own car or engine and compet the brand like toyota, mitsubishi etc.

That fact you said you inject more fuel, that explains why there is more power. In short when you press 50%, stock will put say 20%. After remap, you press 10% you get 20%. In short the pedal only became more sensitive. So even if you only press 10%, the same amount of fuel goes in. If you run a stock at full speed continuously and a remap at full speed continuously, i am sure that the stock will last longer. But if you run slow, of course you cant get reliability issue. The reason why stock have delay is for fuel efficiency. Its like forcing you to drive smoothly. I

Anong issue? 60whp @ 2000 rpm stock versus 75whp @ 2000 rpm remap. Malamang magkaiba speed nyan on identical car plying identical road.
@@kenneth5769 HP and speed is different. Were talking about speed-to-rpm. Say if the car cruises 100kph at 2000rpm, and you remap it, it will still cruise 100kph at 2000rpm. The difference mainly will be how fast will it get to that speed, but speed-rpm will still be the same.
