Syd, I already had my accent crdi remapped in your metrowalk branch but still with the stock exhaust, does it need to be re-tuned once I get the full exhaust?
Probably a dumb question, but what is stopping someone from putting a mini PC in their car that essentially is doing the job of the ECU. I put an aftermarket screen in my car that plugs into the OBD port so it is already displaying engine information. Would it be possible to install a small PC (Like a Beelink) that controls engine timing and whatnot
Not Speedlab but I'll give it a shot. A Beelink PC would not have the required inputs and outputs to control the engine. If one wanted to use a Beelink PC as an ECU, they'd have to figure out the following 1. How to take input from the various engine sensors (Crank position sensor, speed sensor, MAF sensor, etc) 2. How to process that information fast enough to respond to throttle input 3. How to send output to control the engine's injectors and spark timings 1 and 3 will probably require you to engineer your own hardware solution and wiring harness. Good luck. 2 would be the main issue. Most desktop operating systems like the ones that come on the Beelink aren't designed to handle information that quickly, no matter how fast your processor is, how it handles instructions using the task scheduler can't hope to keep up with an ECU's specialized hardware. Even if you install a specialized operating system (like Linux with a real-time kernel) you'll need to do all sorts of programming that is, frankly a waste of time. If you had the time, money, knowledge, and will to turn a Beelink into an ECU, yes, it's possible. A massive waste of time and energy for someone who's knowledgeable enough to do that, but it's possible. If you just want a highly tunable ECU, get a Haltech standalone. If you *really* want to do a "roll your own" solution to engine management, look into Arduino or ESP32 microcontrollers. TL:DR; yeah but why would you want to? Tuning a standalone Haltech is hard enough.

How is your montero sport after tuning, any feedback? Anong mods mo?
@@ferdinantolentino much smoother acceleration, better power & earlier peak torque. A bit smokey. Only mod is a k&n filter.

Sir would you recommend Cheap Remap dudes vs speedlab? 😅
does remap or tuning required if I change the full exhaust?
Do you have exhaust that adds power but not too much noise? For montero gen3
another question do we need to upgrade bolts if we do remap?

Hi sir Sid. Planning to have services in your shop for Full Exhaust with no remap. Are you able to do twin pipes without side exit ?
They can but additional charge.
