First of all, I make a "draft" of what I want to write in a notebook in my tablet. Using that, I'm sure what I'm going to do and a don't make a mistake in the moment of writing it on the notebook!
Sarah these are really good ideas I’m doing them now
Instead of cutting two pieces of washi and lining them up to make the tab, what about just folding one piece of washi? You can even fold the washi over even with the page on a planner or journal that doesn’t have other tabs sticking out, and you would still be able to see the washi marked pages pretty well.
And, that August spread is amazing!

I like to mark spots in my Bujo with a tiny paper clip with a little folded washi tape flag on it. It is removable and reusable for other journals. Thanks for the great tips! Must get some clear post it.

Lots of great tips and ideas for planners. I attempted the bullet journal thinking it would be fun but found after awhile it was hard to keep up with unless i pretty much spent the time so FAR in advance which sort of ruined the fun/ease of using it in the end. Seeing the use of the doors and making all your month spread as flips would reduce the time drawing and creating each page. I may have to revisit this idea.

Tapethe page down past the edge, with the tape center line matching the paper's edge. Mak2 tiny cuts into the tape, just enough so the the page can flip. Open the page and apply tape along same paper edge. The new tape should overlap the first tape when it goes past the tip in. Make the small cuts again. Now you have a very secure page. ❤
I've always been intrigued by dutch doors in a planner, but I haven't found a way to use them just yet...
My church recently-ish renovated our basement, but before that, it had real dutch doors in the nursery. They are indeed perfect as baby gates. The adults can open the top half and converse without any escapees =P

I actually use a lot of these ideas for bible journaling/Study. Which I have a few different coloring bibles I absolutely love. I love getting new coloring bibles. Lots of coloring pages and lots of room to take study notes. I will add tip ins sometimes.
If ever I need a planner, this coloring planner I will get. In the past i used the happy planner but quickly realized i dont like doing a whole bunch of artwork to make a page look nice so I end up either using a lot of stickers or leaving it blank. So I prefer the art work already done and I just color it and its cheeper. The stuff for happy planners are pricey. Right now I'm in a season in life that i dont need a planner.

I've not seen the clear post its.....Those would be nice to do meal planning with. You could have enough sheets for a months worth of meals....use the clear post it's for the planning, and then remove and use the same pages again for the next month....this would help with space saving in your planner.

I love the idea of using a planner, but I fail at actually being consistent in using it. I've found Bullet Journal style works best for me, but more as an intermittent journal with recording what has happened vs being able to actually plan future things.
How do the clear plasticky postit notes break down in the landfill once discarded? Are they ecologically safe?

How do you make your planner to get it ready to sell? Or do you have a third party make them? I cannot figure out how to produce my planners to sell.
It’s taken me a few years to figure it all out and find a manufacturer. I created all the templates and designs myself
