Jack & Judy are superb together...Judy knew who were the great ones to bring on her amazing show and Jack Jones lived up to it and still does...a live legendary act not to miss for anyone who enjoys really great singers!!!
Love this duet. Thanks a lot. What a great singer and a handsome and charming man Jack Jones is. Judy : no comment. She's always been one of the very best.
Jack was very impressed with her during the climax of lover come back. I think she sang it differently in rehersal and then gave everyone a surprise during the live taping. to give the spontaneous reaction. She is great!
Jack was one of Judy's favorite singers and he had great reverence for Judy and he was totally in awe of her in her singing. I heard someone say "woo" at 4:57 too its faint.. I get chills each time I hear her voice I am always in awe of this great woman!
Jeanette MacDonald was the Godmother of Jack Jones. Jack Jones` father -Allan Jones and Jeanette MacDonald made a picture together, "The Firefly"(1937). Irene Hervey, Jones`s wife was pregnant during the filming. Jack Jones was born in January 1938. Lorraine
Trivia: Jack Jones changed his name from John Jones in the late 50's because he and my father John Allen Jones, an actor at the time, were getting each others mail.
JUDY COMO SIEMPRE LA MAXIMA!!!! ESTE MUCHACHO JACK, UN BALADISTA ABURRIDO.....COMO TANTOS, CORRECTO PERO NADA MAS!! ENCAMBIO A JUDY NO LA OPACA NADIE!!!! MARAVILLOSA!!
Listen how they both transtion into the song Rosalie. A Cole Porter first having big band popularity after the MGM film adaptation by the Artie Shaw Orchestra where the tenor saxist was the balladeer. Both Tony & Jack have maintained the autheniticity of the so called Swing Era by their unique singing style, though Tony swung more.
when I saw this video I was shocked' not only by what I thought sarcasm of 2 great stars but by the murdering of Jeanette and Nelson' songs, They were beautiful songs when sung properly as J and N sang them but from 2 supposed singers Judy and Jack's adaption sounded as though they had never sung before in their lives.I call it taking the mick of 2 real singers.
Dorothy Mcbain sorry in hit the wrong button. It is a well known fact that very few people a M.G.M. liked Jeanette except Mr. Mayer. Apparently you have never heard Judy’s intro to the song San Francisco. I’m quite sure you don’t want to hear it, you won’t like it. SUPPOSED SINGERS, REALLY. JUDY IS CONSIDERED BY MOST, AND I DO MEAN MOST TO BE NOT ONLY THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME, BUT THE GREATEST TALENT OF ALL TIME. SUPPOSED SINGERS, JACK JONES IS A RATHER GOOD SINGER HIMSELF. YOU DO KNOW that his father is ALLAN JONES a TENOR who sang with Jeanette and is famous for the song DONKEY SERENADE.
sorry don,t agree...it was done too many times to be funny. with a few different people and Judy..beautiful tribute...I don,t think so, a tribute only needs to be done once...no one could hope to emulate Nelson and Jeanette...
Well, this is pretty grim. It seems more like a send up than a tribute of any kind and the fact that I always thought Judy Garland was over-rated has now been verified. These songs, not all of which came from joint Jeanette and Nelson films have been belted out with no feeling and at the wrong tempo by two so called singers who had none of the talent possess by those they mock. The only redeeming factor of this 'entertainment' is that Jack Jones managed to slaughter his own fathers song too!
Well said,,,L do have never rated Ms Garland and after this L have lost respect...sarcasm she was good at ...she could not ever wish to sing like Jeanette or Jack Jones sing like Nelson so they had toi mock them instead...
Great team..... beautiful voices blend...10 stars
OMG!!! I was born to see and hear that!! What a legendary duet!!! Judy and Jack - the best!
I love how he looks at her! Total enchantment
Gorgeous. Judy and Jack.

Again a song that deserves at least a million views!
Two Great voices!
Jack can still sing like this, hes incredible.
Love this duet. Thanks a lot. What a great singer and a handsome and charming man Jack Jones is. Judy : no comment. She's always been one of the very best.
I love it! Two great singers doing what they do best. Just wonderful! One of my favorite duets from the Judy Garland Show.
Jack was very impressed with her during the climax of lover come back. I think she sang it differently in rehersal and then gave everyone a surprise during the live taping. to give the spontaneous reaction. She is great!
Do you know what he was Allan Jones sun
she looks and sounds so stylish here. they are a good match.

I love Jeanette Macdonald, each to their own.
meant to write " in his 20s" ...
Most of my uncles weren't that great.
@pedomano what do ya mean can?
Jack was so pretty, but not a lot else. Does jack have sizemeat?
Judy and Allen Jones, ( Jacks dad ) made a movie together in 1938 called Everybody Sing. Also in the cast were, Fanny Brice, And Billie Burke.

Dorothy Mcbain Oh lighten up, these two were marvelous & did beautifully. I listened to it twice!
Dorothy Mcbain This was not a tribute, it was a parody. By the way did you know that Nelson couldn’t stand Jeanette. That is a fact, most people at
