Not prediction, SIMULATION after looking at all the old data from track and the data of that years cars
Mercedes came out themselves and told that their simulation said the lap in the best case scenario would be 1:36.142

Every formula car follows the laws of physics amd the human's job is to subjectovely make the most out of them. Each generation of consciousness is both physically and mentally improved as are algorithms. The above video and topic of conversation shows Lewis beating said algorithm. Rossi raced a robot bike no? How'd that go? F1 teams field two cara first and foremost.. Drivers are secondary but primary to the fans. Where is there any AI racing or an automated car driven by such? Nature always wins. Unlike your point. 280kph is the fastest I've been when in control.

Being a Lewis fan, I don't believe the computer's calculations were totally accurate if someone was able to better a "perfect" lap. Maybe the parameters were not 100% accurate. Though I'm not taking away anything from Lewis's lap, it was fucking amazing and one of the best laps ever.
Nah mate. Computer is probably and must be accurate. But its calculations is for the limits not beyond them. I am not a LH fan BTW.
