The sound of the wind is so overwhelming
now imagine your rival is gaining on you down the straight, and your Ferrari engineers are asking you to pit for softs on lap 34/56 to go to the end.
driving down the german highway at 200kmph you can hear the wind similar like this aswell but its gotta be 10x worse in an open cockpit at 300kmph

@@WillowCreative It's not worse. Their helmets are sound insulated and they also wear ear buds. All they hear is some noise from the engine.
Try riding a motorcycle fast. That blasting wind stream is not just on your helmet, it’s on your whole body. There’s nothing quite as exhilarating as braking hard from a full throttle straight and throwing your whole body into the inside of a corner towards the apex, and seeing the pavement inches below you.
Fast cars are a blast, fast motorcycles are another world altogether.
Props to the editor for painstakingly masking the wheel display so well.

Man these F1 games are getting more and more realistic. Could have sworn that was real life for a moment there. But then I noticed the player using a high seating position than the real Yuki.

I've seen pit stops in slo motion, top view down, side views, now, interesting to see it from the POV of the driver. This was really cool being able to see that and Yuki's drive.

@@brandonskillen5854 I think it was kn 2019… they made the exact same video but a viewer saw that there was something off… I don’t know what exactly but I can look into it

@@brandonskillen5854 Renault released a driver's POV video, in the video people noticed that Renault was using a piece of software that automatically adjusted the brake balance for the driver for each corner (as opposed to having the driver do it manually as per the rules), so Renault were fined and had to remove the system

Yeah, F1 lowered the quality a few years ago to get smoother streaming.

@@njhamb6809 the POV is different, the TV camera is on the side of the visor, this one seems to be between the eyes of the driver.

It's way worse on the Ferrari onboards but I think AT used a larger camera with powerful image stabilization for this footage.
Major respect to all f1 drivers. they drive one of the fastest cars in the world and make it look like it's a normal Sunday stroll

On F1 TV you can get camera feeds from individual cars. But not usually a cockpit view like that

This video provides a much better perspective on what the driver is actually seeing vs. what they share on the race day feeds, and great insight into what the driver faces trying to tame one of these beasts. Minus the insane G-forces, bumping and cramped cockpit of the real car, of course.

I love these clips. Also, there are definitely nerds like me out there that would love to watch the stupid long un-cut version with all the button pressing and boring moments just to be in the atmosphere. Judging by the blurred wheel there's a lot you purposely don't show. Even still, Alpha Tauri is one of my favorite teams, go Yuki!! Love sporting my Alpha Tauri fashion, such a cool concept.

We can still do this, you need to login to the F1 app. The app allows you to switch different camera angles even in the live race.

@@Skafiskafnjak51 yeah but imagine what it would cost to actually be able to cycle through all the cameras lol it sucks that the broadcast networks usually have control over the cameras and angles we get to see sometimes they miss contact or someone going off track cause they have the camera focused on the lone driver leading the race while the commentators talk about what’s going on in the background. Like when max spun in Hungary they had the broadcast focused on something els I had to wait for them to show the replay I was kinda pissed cause I hate missing the action live since that’s what I pay for lol
