Chewbacca defends Kessel from another imperial counter attack by rushing the landing zone. However, not long after it was realized the empire could not retake the asteroid, Chewbacca was tasked with Ben Kenobi on a commando raid to Corulag.
This will open up another lane of attack directly to Coruscant. Something the empire cannot ignore.
