@@shaftoe195 I’ll change my attitude when at least SQ 42 is released.
@@TheNorthie I didn't ask you to change anything. I just found your comment amusing, that's it. :)
Ok, serious question: Why the insistence on fully spelling out the year names? Why say “two thousand five hundred and seventy one” (as a random example) instead of “twenty five seventy one” ? :/

I really enjoyed this video, and always glad to see SC lore getting an airing beyond its community. There's a few minor trivia errata that might interest you.
3:00 This mixed up the platforms of the Centralists and the Universalists: both are conservative and free market supporters, but its the Centralists who are the more extremely free market and the Universalists who are the more extremely conservative. The third party is the Transitionalists, not Traditionalists as it sounds like.
4:25 The Imperator does not need to be a Senator: the new Imperator wasn't, and neither were most of the candidates. They do need to be a Citizen rather than a Civilian, though.
6:06 The term is Civilian, not Commoner.
12:00 It was actually leaked footage of the total biocide of an alien world, terraformed despite possessing an ecosystem.
Minor minor nitpicks!
thanks for this info! It was pretty hard to get some solid details on some of these points as it seems like the lore has changed a bit over the years.
@@TemplinInstitute you are not wrong: perils of a game in development. Particularly annoying when they retcon something with a RUclips video, but leave the now defunct lore up as a text post that search engines still recommend.
yesss!! star citizen content!!!
I haven't played Star Citizen yet but I can see why the main faction name is bad.
Would "Human Interstellar Republic" sound better?
This feels like Dune before the Jihad
Suggestion: STAR WARS LEGENDS: Alliance special forces/SpecForce.
I think that the UEE should have been named United Colonial Empire because the name just focus on earth whereas there are other planets with the same power as Earth.
Or human empire
@@rhorynotmylastname7781 Maybe but, in my opinion, that sounds xenophobe, something that doesn't fit with the “current” diplomatic policies.
