I fucking miss the multiplayer campaign from titanfall 1 it was the thing taht made me fall so in love with the game. Just the thought of a story playing out in multiplier is so cool. I wish in titanfall 3 they expanded it and actually made it so the story could branch out if one side wins or loses.

I kinda understand why the IMC had to resort to using mercenaries. With the fall of Demeter, the IMC logistics chain was cut off, effectively cutting them off in what is essentially hostile territory. Then, with the destruction of the Hammond facilities for making mech infantry, this is just them being backed into a corner and grasping at straws. After all, no sane military would design and deploy a planet killer weapon unless they really needed it.
I don't see anything against ground combat, but one thing about space: the Militia has 0 space forces, while the IMC has armadas. Also, the number of human systems in Titanfall is microscopic compared to the # of inhabited systems in Star Wars.
@@sylquinn4075 Still enough Planets and Space locations to make atleast 2 campaigns. In Titanfall 2 we see that Militia DOES have a Space Fleet, and not so small at that! + Militia would play similar to Rebels from Star Wars anyway, so big fleets for Militia are not neccesary.

I remember in stellaris I basically turned into the IMC. I eventually had an army that was untouchable and an even better economy the only one who could rival me in terms of economic status was my buddy. Sadly I lost the war to 3 fairly powerful empires that made a federation and to make sure I wouldn’t ever do that again my buddy destroyed all my habitable planets
If they had titans then we legit could’ve recreated the whole game. It was pretty fun actually it’s just time consuming so I play when I’m home from work

@@scp-2348 yes. Though i think a secondary theme of Titanfall is that revolutions are messy, yet necessary. The milita gets forced to do some shitty things, like raiding Fracture for fuel. They probably caused some serious damage to the planet as they raided it, but the alternative would be the end of any resistance to the IMC and the death of the hundreds of thousands of Civilians in their fleet. In reality all revolutions from history we would consider necessary and good were not perfect and did not produce perfect results. Yet it was an improvement, and that is what was important. So i guess what Titanfall wants to say is that there needs to be actual fundamental change to make the world a better place. Our world's Hammond Robotics and Vinson Dynamics needs to be destroyed if we want freedom and a decent quality of life for everyone, not just us few in the west.

Instead, it will be against the stereotypical evil megacorp and its army of giant robots and androids. Anyway, I hope you'll do more on the world of Titanfall soon.

I have never played the game but what was said in this vid doesn't make sense -you can't have such a overwhelmingly powerful company AND functional governments with any significant agency. They are more or less mutually exclusive.
Give it a bit more thought, such a powerful corporation won’t need planetary governments, but those governments sure need IMC more than IMC needs them.

Normally I'm up for being the good guys, but damn when TF1 hit I've always preferred the IMC aesthetic and having a South African mercenary as a leader was awesome. On with TF2 as well
The Frontier Militia are far from being the "good guys"; this video gets a lot of finer details wrong, like how the Militia _destroyed_ Demeter rather than occupying the planet. They cut off supply and reinforcements between the Frontier and the Core, which likely resulted in the deaths of billions.

Titanfall 2 is such a good game. Apex Legends is good too but we really need a proper Titanfall 3
I have never played the game but what was said in this vid doesn't make sense -you can't have such a overwhelmingly powerful company AND functional governments with any significant agency.
They are more or less mutually exclusive.
Give it a bit more thought, such a powerful corporation won’t need planetary governments, but those governments sure need IMC more than IMC needs them.
