Excellent Ryan.. Learned a few things from you here for sure. Pity about EV's.. If they'd have waited for the battery technology to catch up that was lighter and gave more miles per charge it would have worked for most private motorists. As it is Hybrid's are the only real option as things stand.
i used to always scan a car when i was mobile back in the day and take a report . not saying you get dodgy customers but i have had one or 2 saying “ well it was not like that until you touched it “ well i am afraid it was sir 🤪🤪🤪
Great video as always Ryan. Just wondering who you did your training with as I paid for course nearly a year ago through Dingbro but they still not running it. If you get time to replay be greatly appreciated. Dougie
Hi i used cg100 for this but there are plenty of other cheaper options for practice etc I have always had a liking for this type of stuff to be honest, Starting off i bought a few cheap control units to use as practice around 6 years ago Even on youtube you can find videos related to reading eeproms/mcu’s etc but like everything you wont be able to do it all. Some are harder than others and certain people have expertise on particular control units 🙂 Thanks for watching
Hi, been watching your videos for a while now. I thought I'd post a comment on this video as I have a very similar problem with my VW Passat b7 1.6 TDI bluemotion. Yes it's water ingress in the ECU 😮 shock and horror. I cannot communicate with the ECU and the car will not crank or start. I have a second hand replacement with exactly the same part numbers. Some people say that you cannot clone these and some people say you can. What I'm asking is can you recommend a company that can and not try to sell me their own plug and play ECU for £450. Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍

Battery tech wasn't the issue, it was well known, and could have been packaged safely.

From what i heard the diesel filter had been well overdue

Leave it at the dealer or replace everything on the audi, got headache written all over that job if antmy short cuts are taken.
Part exchange the Audi as it’s not worth spending on.
