Ya sheoldred is a bit of nonbo with necro but there is enough card draws in the format with uro nonsense to punish them and it does combo with the one ring 😅 and it's also a nice card to let us get in range for storm kill
I was just saying I might have missed lethal because after discarding I realized I had 7 free mana cards so it would've done 18 dmg actually. Ritual into 0 mana cards and Beseech into storm is 8 storm with original dealing 18dmg 😅 if I didn't draw 3 Beseech there it would have dealt 20 dmg
Damn, from now on whenever I boot up historic I'll take a second to appreciate that blood moon isn't legal, that card is a beast... also seems like necro could easily be unbanned
Bloodmoon is certainly powerful but there are workarounds compared to necropotence. Vs. Bloodmoon you can add to your deck such as swampcycling/etc cards to fetch basics or fetchlands (even fabled passage in this event) to get workable manabase before bloodmoon comes down. But, decks that are playing things like field of the dead does get completely countered by bloodmoon which is great imo (punish the greedy manabase). But! Necropotence just says you always have full set of hands, and trying to remove necropotence means you can just draw bunch more to offset the card disadvantage.
@@Takobyte Well the greedy manabase is what sometimes has to happen for a deck, three color decks are pretty weak otherwise, e.g I bloodmoonproofed my stormdeck, and 2 games in a row directly after that I lost bc I couldn't escape my Uro/follow up with weather the storm. and tbh if a card completely hates out 3c manabases I feel like that card shouldn't be in a format that isn't as degenerate as legacy or vintage/has good fetches. idk maybe necro is good as a value card, but as a combo card it doesn't really seem worth it and even as value it's strong yes, but not broken

Why is that? It says at the end of your next end step, so if I don't draw on my turn I would be losing out on cards for 2 turns no?
Ok is true. Is your next no next end ,sorry but i dont understanding why you dont you use it and dont be forced to discard too many cards .
