If you want to fall even more in love with Steve Buscemi, google his name and 9/11. Before he started acting, he was a NYC firefighter stationed in Manhattan. When the towers fell, he showed up at his old station, put on the. gear, and worked almost a week of 12 hour shifts searching the rubble alongside his fellow firefighters. And has worked since then helping to call attention to the lack of funding and healthcare for emergency responders from 911. An absolutely stellar human being.
Somebody Kill Me Please has got to be the funniest song in any movie I have ever seen. Drew Barrymore’s expression when he started to sing the chorus was hilarious! Love this movie!
This is my favorite Adam Sandler movie. He & Barrymore have amazing on-screen chemistry. I like that Sandler's character isn't overly obnoxious like he can be in many of his other films.

I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s. The answer to your question this movie has an 80’s soundtrack. The Wedding Singer takes place in the 80’s. Julia’s fiancé was a fanatic of the 80’s cop drama Miami Vice. One of the most popular tv shows that aired on NBC, with an awesome soundtrack. If you’re not familiar go to the Wikipedia page to learn about the show.
"Hey Linda, you're a bitch!" The Wedding Singer always cheers me up when I have bad days or just a proper hilarity on my good days. Genuinely super funny and a lovely story as well. It reminds me that even when life seems like it's falling apart, you can still laugh and that great things often start off in initially heartbreaking situations. Also, it's the first film Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler did together.
The twins would have lots of fun reacting to *OLD SCHOOL* (2003), *SCHOOL OF ROCK* (2003), and *KICKING & SCREAMING* (2005). These comedies are great!😂

Grandmas Boy is a must watch if you guys haven't already seen it. It's a Happy Madison production. It stars Allen Covert (Sammy, Robbies best friend in this movie) and Nick Swardson. Easily one of my favorite comedies, hilarious!
My mom used to play the wedding singer soundtrack for us in the car when I was young it always made my brother and me die laughing when this song came on and then after she’d remind us to never swear lol
My favorite part of this movie is that there's literally no reason to set the story 13 years before its release. They just wanted to do a bunch of '80s references, and that was the easiest way to work them in.
Adam and Steve worked on an earlier movie called Airheads together. . Brendan Frazier is in it too. Funny and great movie. If you haven't seen it , you Should look it up if you get the chance.

This is my favorite Adam Sandler movie. I also owned the soundtrack and I was working in a store in the mall as a teenager. Whoever was working would take turns picking CDs to play in the store. I put in The Wedding Singer soundtrack and totally forgot that the Linda song was on it. When it came on, I leapt over the counter to run into the back and turn it off before he started cursing. Good times.

If you liked The Wedding Singer, GRANDMA'S BOY is a movie you guys would love. A lot of the same cast, written by Allen Covert (Sammy), and is all about video games and getting stoned. It's a hilarious movie that somehow slipped under the radar of classic comedy.
Sammy, in the red jacket, was the lead in Grandma's Boy - crazy how much the 80s hair, stache, and wardrobe hides that... took me way too many years to realize.
