Omg I recommend you put another peice of foil over the popcorn for those who have a different brand airfryer because when they pop up or jump they fly into other parts of the airfryer and can cause a fire. Literally just happened to me 5 minutes ago
Our Phillips air fryer would probably do this. When I heat taco shells up for a few minutes they get sucked up a little bit into the heating element and I imagine popcorn will do the same. Thank you for this comment. I will make sure i do this before trying. Perhaps this video should be deleted and remade. You would think the maker of this video would at least put up a disclaimer for this reason. Stay safe everyone.
I don't recommend doing this without making a loose pouch out of foil to hold the popcorn. You do not want the kernels popping into the heating elements. It may work once, but it could cause a fire. Think critically.

Oh those powders arn't bad its just alot of sodium like around 90 grams per serving(1/4 a tsp😬) but no fat no sugar no carbs no protein and 2 calories, so not gonna do anything for you but not too bad for you unless you count tons of sodium 🤣
*I like that I can "fry" something on a whim! An oil fryer takes so much more time to clean and prepare **MyBest.Kitchen** a chore which usually kept me from frying all together. If your into health then read the ingredients on those popcorn seasonings and you probably won't use them anymore, I use to use them until I saw the ingredients.
A little question here.. when the kernels pop won't it get stuck in the upper part of the air fryer probably from where the air comes.. i haven't tried popcorn yet thinking it would spoil the air fryer, can u please ans ASAP and tnx 4 ur precious time nd effort🍁💐
Use another piece of foil over the top of the top of the popcorn. First fit a piece of foil to the bottom of the airfryer, take it out. Once that piece is out fit another piece to the airfryer bottom. Follow the directions of the video, but before you add heat, add that other foil over the top. You may still get. a few kernels here and there stuck at the top, but if you don't do it this way you could cause a fire, literally. Happened to my cousins a few days ago with his fryer.
The spray coconut oil has no trans fats and only puts a very light coating. So it is a healthy option. The cheese seasoning isn’t highly processed at all. It’s mostly whole foods ingredients with the exception of a tiny amount of hydrolysed corn protein. And it is 2 calories and only 90mg of sodium per serving. So it is very much healthy.
I don't know where you live in europe, but here in Germany we have spray can of oil. Its overpriced and super wastefull, so i don't understand why people buy this, but well~
Sugar and Salt isnt bad for health lol. Our body consumes sugar for energy and salt is an excellent source of electrolytes. The sugar wont increase the calories that much too.
@@gabriellee1378 You're kidding, right? Yes, we need sugar and salt to live, but the amount we need is very, very low. People will consume their actual daily need for sugar with a few chips. Any excess sugar is stored in the body, and is one of the fastest ways to get fat. Also, the elevated insulin levels are a huge risk for diabetes. Salt is also especially dangerous. We need it to live, but we need a proper balance. Too much salt raises our blood pressure, and if you have your blood pressure too high for prolonged periods of time, you are increasing your risk of stroke, heart attack, and many other life altering diseases.
@@toddtherodgod1867 and you think those amount of sugar and salt is alot comparing to the processed foods other people eats per serving daily? It's all about calories in calories out when it comes to weight control. What food you eat doesn't matter, I can gain weight if I eat 3000kcal of chicken breast and loose weight if I consume 1700kcal of sugar. You don't just gain weight just by eating a sprinkle of sugar and salt. Its fine lol
Interesting it actually works, but let's just use a pot, vegetable oil, and a pasta sauce splatter mesh over so steam releases. Using tin foil every time to make some popcorn is so wasteful

Wow thank god I read the comment section before making it myself.. I will take your advice (and also check my fryer)
This is livesaving...literally
THANK YOU
I literally came for this answer as to how to solve that. Yet I feel like it wouldn't suffice.

Think outside the box.
This was my concern as well. I mean theres an element above the popcorn
lmao broski said think critically

Right? 😂 like I’ve never even seen “unhealthy” people do that, let alone healthy people.
My thoughts excately.
thus it is still healthier than chips, chocolate and co ^^
I was coming here to say the same! Hahaha!
I never thought of making popcorn 🍿 in an air fryer

How did they not Get up in the coils?

Popcorn too??? Omg...love ittt...lol

I love my air fryer it's so awesome I plan on trying to make pop corn like that.
"my family is into healthy options"
Uses a spray can of oil (doesn't even exist here in Europe 😂) and adds processed seasonings of "cheese" flavor 😂

Could people possibly be more petty? More judgmental? More elitist? Some people are just antisocial trash.
It never work with mine. Always kitchen foil going up and trouble with 🤔
Didn't work for me. The kernels didn't pop
very tempting 💯💯️❤️ Awesome recipe 👍
Thank you so much 😊
"since my family is really into health!"
*proceeds to put pure sugar and salt all over the popcorn*
Also ironically, coconut oil is bad for health
and what’s the point of oil after frying

I suppose you don't need any type of oil
all of sudden ruined when used the coconut oil, not want my popcorn taste like coconut
Thank you so much for this!!😮😮
Thank soooooo much for sharing us how to make pop corn in Air Fryer, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😘💕
Superb 👍
I tried this but the aluminum flew up and half of the kernels didn’t pop... what do you think was the problem because I’m not sure.
I had the same problem
Wow .
👍👍👍👍😍
Is it safe to use aluminium in high temperatures? and keep it in contact with food?
what kinda of question is that
@@rambolando9048 answer the question
yes, i do it all the time to save time from cleaning the air fryer. it’s safe.
Mine has a max temp of 200 degrees.. Can it still do the job?
It’s 400 F
@@cristin8073 so that's 200 C
Thanks
@@KhaledSelim yes!
Tried two batches.
Result: burnt pop corn.
Move them to my AMC pot.
Partially pop. Tried new batch on AMC pot, all pop within 5 min.
No aluminium above the popcorn? I guess a lot of airfryers have take damage without foil above...
The head text need to be updated for this ASAP.
Please tell why you were spraying coconut oil
Flavor rather than butter...
“We’re really into health” proceeds to cook food with tin foil
Is it safe to put foil in airfryer?
Yeah
Never mind you have in the homemade French fire video
It's just air popped popcorn in a different machine.
I tried and it was a fail in both the air fryer and the microwave oven
Use a pot or pan. Lightly spray oil cover and pop medium heat.
Coconut oil is high in saturated fats
Best stick with the skillet.
Did you add oil to popcorn before frying?
thanks alot
Wowwwwwww
from what i was told tin foil is not good in the air fryer
Yummy
Thank you 🙏
But it only takes like 2 min in microwave
What else can I use besides foil?
Parchment paper
Interesting it actually works, but let's just use a pot, vegetable oil, and a pasta sauce splatter mesh over so steam releases. Using tin foil every time to make some popcorn is so wasteful
Price of oil right now I'd sooner use foil
junior, get those dirty hands out of there.lol. Only thing,I would scoop some into a bowl for them.
Only 2 kernels popped....what happened!??
Dont do popcorn in air fryer. It will damage it.
Can you add oil before frying?
Yes you can
No oil?
Put the instructions in the info
Family into HEALTH ? Well just pour MORE processed confectionary cheese. That's real good for you.
😂😂😂😂
Nice video too
Oh! So you've got to use Maize kernals & not corn seed !!
Oops! That's why I fill my kitchen with black smoke & the house stinks for a week ! :-/
well 8 mins and 400 degrees didn't work but i an using a ninja
i did 10 min at 400 and nothing
stone cold steve austin
Always..lol
Well that didn't work.

*VERY NICE. From **#WorldHAX*
This is bullshit. Didn't work. All the kernels burnt but didn't pop.
Thanks allot!
