You don't think of dying so young. Huge body of work and still making his presentation.
Dr. Comini's book, Egon Schiele was in the window of a Paris bookshop when I found it in 1975 and of all published works on the arts and artists that I've read, that book had the most profound effect on me and my work. For students and artists out there today, it's perhaps difficult to imagine that before Dr. Comini's efforts in bringing Schiele into the public light, almost nothing was known about him and very few people had seen any of his works. Later, I found her book: The Changing Image of Beethoven and it had similar effects on my understanding of that particular genius. Art and Music owes a substantial debt to Dr. Comini.
Great keeping our attention of lecturer well presentation of the artist!
Dr Comini is WONDERFUL
Congratulations. Enjoyed this presentation of the artist.❤
Thank you a vibrant lecture added to the morn!
Great photo of him, like his work!
Reminder of graduate art history classes with Dr. Comini and my introduction to Egon Schiele and the Age of Angst. Still have my notes and her books in my library.
This is the most well researched scholarly expose' of the greatness of Egon Schiele.
Really wonderful talk. Schiele is a fascinating artist, and Dr. Comini tells his story in a way that's entertaining and obviously well-researched. I really enjoyed this, thanks!
Excellent Brava! Thank you!
Brilliant speech!
Wonderful, would have liked to have seen the cellist play at the end, the Elegy was haunting and beautiful.
Great wording of "bland" resesrve an innocence "unexperiened."
An excellent presentation,thank you!...
Wow. Presentation and music at the end. A wonderful mesmerizing presentation. Ironic the prim presentor and the erotic tormented painter. Eye opening from many vantages, the society and times, the psychological, loss of father and parenting. The care of friends, war, marriage, impending family revealed in art, revealed by a mesmerized scholar.
Thank You. I am so glad I got to see this exhibition.
Outstanding exhibit at the Neue. I recent saw the Schiele exhibit on a trip to Manhattan.

A short way to always lose an audience is to read your presentation.
