Just received mine today! It seems good, noticed a bit of wiggle with the supplied pins, with the charging handle folded the charging handle wiggles/has play. Can we not use the OEM roll pins? They should help tighten it all up.
@Sevenarrowz The wiggle is inherent in the factory carrier, but typically unnoticeable since there is no rotational force applied. When this handle is installed, the leverage produced due to handle length is more than 10x the factory handle, hense the wiggle is amplified. The supplied pins are slotted and "spring" tight and eliminate any movement. Factory roll pins are too long and won't work.
Just installed it within 5 minutes, worked flawless!
Excellent product. I've had one on my Bren 2 for about four-thousand rounds and it's been rock-solid.
Top notch products and top notch install videos. I wish more companies did what you do. Keep it up
Thank you for your support Nick.
I would personally suggest pin punches with nubs for roll pins, it makes the install much easier than what you showed.😅
Those are not as common nor readily available, but I can see the advantage.
@@shahens1 Understandable, I'm liking the FCH a lot so far. I'm not being poked in the sternum anymore either!
@@RollerDelayed I'm glad you're happy with it. Thank you for your support.
I broke my oem charging Handel trying to get the pins in wait another 8 weeks for a new one to come unfortunately
can this be installed for lefties on the opposite side?
Yes, just like you flip the factory one.
Working working working
