This is one of the best trigger installation videos I have ever seen. Thank you for going so slow. Thank you for shooting a perfect camera angle. You guys at HBI are the best
Thanks for this! I didn't install a new trigger but from the factory the trigger pin hole wasn't lined up and the Shepard's hook wasn't thru it. My hammer pin started walking out every time I pulled the trigger and I couldn't understand why, until I saw this video of how it should be. Keep note that the Shepard's hook is a very important component and get it in right because your pins will walk out without it!
Super Easy install. Im pretty mechanically inclined but id say this was super easy. CZ did a great job making a gun that is easy to take apart and put back together w/ no tiny springs under tension to pop out and fly into low earth orbit. HBI adding the roll pin is a life saver. great fore-thought there. Give the vid a full watch through then follow along. hes got a ton of great tips to make life easy.
I'm debating buying this trigger and wanted to watch the video to see if it was above my skills set. It probably was, but this video is so good, I'm confident I can handle it.
Now all I gotta do is find a damn CZ Bren 2! Thanks for making me jealous though... I absolutely LOVE almost everything you guys make, fantastic quality and fit n finish! Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much brother! I was so worried about taking my CZ apart! This is a clear view of everything you are doing with small explanations about parts that need attention.
I installed the trigger, disconnect thingy, charging handle and safety’s today. Thank you for this video. Without it I would had to pay someone because I am far from a gunsmith. I wish I could upload photos here because it is awesome. The trigger is like a complete different unit. Feels like a custom flat trigger. Not to overstate but it changes everything on this rifle! If I could only find the actual folding stock. I have filed the paper work to SBR this.
Wish granted. Email today from hbi: We are planning on making an 11” Bren 2 handguard. Unfortunately, we do not have a production date yet due to all of the craziness going on right now. I would recommend staying up to date with our social media and website for further announcements. Have a great day! Sincerely, Mike Bradley HBindustries.net
@@michaelsrite822 haha yeah I'm sure most people with a longer bren 2 pistol are in the same boat but depending on your barrel length, the one you have ordered might be the best option anyways. I have the 14" and would love as long a handguard as they can make for it. Sure, I might not be able to mount a bayonet but at like $300+ I'm not planning on HAVING a bayonet anytime soon hahaha. But you could always use this shorter handguard as an excuse to get a shorter gun in the other caliber... *devil on shoulder*
Your videos are thorough. Might install trigger and safety switch upgrade at same time. HBI products are well made, intuitive and transform an already good rifle into a great rifle. I love my 8” Bren w/HBI folding stock. Thank you! 👍
The trigger definitely takes more time to install, but doing them both at the same time is always nice since you will already have the lower on your bench, tools available, and time carved out to work on it. Plus... we still believe that our trigger is literally the best "bang for your buck" upgrade on the Bren 2 🙂
This is an excellent instructional video. Bright lighting, perfect camera positioning, always focused, and hands basically never obstructing the view. The spoken instructions are clearly pronounced and easy to follow. None of the maddening "put this here, and this here" kind of stuff. Anyone wanting to make an instructional video should watch this one to see how it's done. Thanks!
Easier than I thought. It's hammering on the roll pin to take the safety selector off that worried me. It was super tight, I had to brace the underside of it so it wouldn't put too much impact on the cross pin and the hole in the frame it goes through. A bit more slop in the safety selector after I put it all back together.
You do a great job with these videos. My Scorpion received all the upgrades and I've sent many scorpion owners your way, especially for the trigger springs. Time for some Bren 2 upgrades.....when they are in stock :(.
I just installed the Trigger, safety selector levers and the mag well insert for AR style 762x39 mags. Thanks for the very helpful videos, by the way can you tell me what brace you have installed on that bren 2 you used in the video, I want one
Thank you for a great demonstration on how to install your flat trigger. Could you please show us what the trigger pull is with your NEW FLAT TRIGGER INSTALLED?? Thanks 👍
Outstanding video. I just completed this trigger install w/ the help of this video. Well done! Straight forward and thorough! Trigger is GREAT. I consider this trigger and the HB Industries charging handle essential mods. The Safety throw switches are a nice add (I did these at the same time), and in addition, G-10 "Rail Scales" on the M-Lok forearm of my BREN 2 "S" (lucky me) are killer! Top it off with a Sig Folding knuckle (folding stock adapter) mounted to a 1913 Picitinny mount on the rear and Gear Worx 'Tailhook" brace, and this is one remarkable firearm. Thanks for the great video, because without it I could not buy your product since I would not know how to install it.
Any chance you are working on a spring kit to give a smooth trigger? Also, i handle my firearms without gloves when moving pins. Am I missing something in the CZ pin lube warning?
I know it is suppose to clean up the take up and over travel, but what about the actual break weight what is a typical pull weight with the trigger gauge? I know stock is pretty light round the higher 3 lbs range
Our Bren 2 trigger does not alter the pull weight, springs and sear-hammer engagement are not changed. Typical gage weight is 4.0-4.8lbs depending on where the gage is placed on the face of the trigger.
Unfortunately no, this trigger only fits the Bren 2S and 2MS. The lower receiver and entire fire control group is different between the 805 and 806/2S/2MS
We are making disconnectors now, hammer/sear are a maybe. We have prototyped all three components, but the geometry on the factory hammer/sear/disco are all VERY good. Specifically regarding 922r/Form1 we are looking at other eligible components to get the part count right :-)
The factory owners manual does not specify, however we typically clean and lubricate the hammer/sear/disconnector hooks as well as pivot pins (very similar to any other AR type fcg).

Thank you for the kind words! Our videos are not the best, but we are genuinely glad if they help people.
They do and did. Thank you.@@hb_industries

Please make an mlok handguard for the 11" and 14" that extends further than the factory guard .
Yes, a 10" handguard would be perfect.

Really?
My handguard is in the mail already. I guess ill have to buy the longer one when they make them.

Great video. Followed every step and the trigger went in great. Truly full service from HB Industries!

Just installed the trigger and safety on my Bren 2. Thanks for the video, it made it a breeze!

Great video. Finally got around to installing your trigger.
That was great. I can’t wait to install this trigger on the bren I don’t even own. At least I learned something

They're in stock!
Just did install great video ! Took less than 30 minutes
Thanks - made replacing the stock trigger with the HBI super easy for my first time.
Actually think it was a faster replacement than the ARs
You guys Seriously create AMAZING Install Videos!!!! Great job and great products!
After install the hammer pin is walking out on trigger pull. Any ideas?

Great job ! Perfect video and explanation. Trigger is awesome ! Thanks
IMHO the stock trigger is pretty damn good.

You need a magnetic bowl for this. I had several in the military and still have 1. They are amazing for holding your parts once removed.

Awesome video. Super simple after watching that. Thanks
Zero over travel, nice flat trigger, no side to side wobble
I know it is suppose to clean up the take up and over travel, but what about the actual break weight what is a typical pull weight with the trigger gauge? I know stock is pretty light round the higher 3 lbs range

When do the cz Bren 2 carbines come out??!?!?!?!?!
I'm sure you already know by now but figured I would reply and let you know they are finally out!
Chris Imes I bought the real carbine after converting it from a pistol. The carbine that just came out is just a sport rifle.
You guys make a good Bren A Great Bren
does this trigger work on full auto bren 2 ?
"If you don't have a good pair of tweezers.. Maybe you should get one!" Well maybe I will! :-)
Thanks smooth install great video
Great trigger. Love it
curious to know if the Bren 2 lower receiver is interchangeable with the Bren 805.
Unfortunately no, the 805 and Bren2 are VERY different, the lowers are not interchangeable
Great information...pretty easy installation
excellent! Helped alot, great parts
Of all the wonderful stocks we have now, a DD?
In our defense the video is from 2020...
Will this fit on gen 1 Bren ?
Our triggers are designed for the Bren 2S, Bren 2MS. They will not fit the Bren 805 models.
thank you, trigger was easy to install.
Do You ship to germany?
Dose this trigger work for the Bren 805
Unfortunately no, this trigger only fits the Bren 2S and 2MS. The lower receiver and entire fire control group is different between the 805 and 806/2S/2MS
Any chance you guys are going to make a sear/hammer/disconnector so we have compliance parts to form 1 these things?
We are making disconnectors now, hammer/sear are a maybe. We have prototyped all three components, but the geometry on the factory hammer/sear/disco are all VERY good. Specifically regarding 922r/Form1 we are looking at other eligible components to get the part count right :-)
@@hb_industries Excellent, thank you!
@@hb_industries Also thanks for making this nice flat blade trigger, charging handle and safety lever and for shipping them as fast as you did :D
Do any of the parts need to be lubed/re-lubed before or after installation?
The factory owners manual does not specify, however we typically clean and lubricate the hammer/sear/disconnector hooks as well as pivot pins (very similar to any other AR type fcg).
great video
Can I put this trigger in a gen 1?
This trigger is not compatible with Bren 805 models, only Bren 2 and Bren 2 MS.
I love you guys parts and bought alot for my scorpion but its gone now and i have a bren s1 pistol but you guys only make parts for the bren2. Bummer
Any way I can get some heavier springs? 3.5lbs is too light for my taste on a defensive weapon. I prefer 5.
That was easy
