I love it too, I didn’t like it when I was a kid and through my twenties and mid 30’s. I did like old music from the 50’s but didn’t get into the show tune. I started listening to all the crooners in my mid 30’s.
I started loving his music when I saw a TV mini-series on him in 1992. I was in my late 30s. Then I watched a documentary on him and got to see several of his live performances in that. I became a fan but only of certain parts of his career.

Lots of old-school stsndards sung as only Sinstra could sing them. A great live album is “Sinatra at the Sands”, where he is also acclaimed by The Count Basie Orchestra; check out Come Fly With Me, Fly Me to the Moon, It Was a Very Good Year, and My Kind of Town. Frank was the epitome of cool, then and now. Sexy for the ladies and the men recognized that too! I think he was the beginning of the times, 60 years ago, that white singers noticing they could sing like the black "cool" singers they were discovering.
“Fly Me To The Moon” is probably my favorite, but also “New York, New York” and “My Way”. Check out the Rat Pack (Frank, Sammy Davis Jr, Dean Martin and more).
Think you’re right Polo. My mom always said, “this too shall pass”. Franks delivery is amazing. First time I’ve heard that version, and I love it! 7:55 Thanks man!
Great reaction POLO!! "Ol' Blue Eyes" as he was called was my dad's favorite singer. I grew up listening to my dad's collection of Frank's music. Sinatra was also known as being part of "The Rat Pack" which included entertainers in the 1950s and 1960s comprising primarily Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop. They were an informal group of entertainers, the second iteration of which ultimately made films and appeared together in Las Vegas casino venues. Thanks for bringing back some awesome memories!

"This too shall pass" reminds me of an incredible performance. It'll seem random at first but check out Bono and The Edge doing Stuck in the Moment acoustically on Letterman.
Drinking Again is a perfect song to channel your blues through. Kind of a saloon song… simple, and with Frank in beautiful voice. Really love his vocals on it…
I was born under the Nixon Administration, and did NOT grow up in a household that listened to Frank. That was my wife, who introduced me to him. He's not in my regular playlist, but when he's on - I find myself turning up the volume.
My friends and I went through a Rat Pack phase, and I ended up collecting nearly all of Sinatra's vinyl albums. Always love hearing Sinatra ... thanks for your reaction! ❤
That song, and Sinatra, were emblematic of the era and the American mindset. Men were men and we learned, early on, that no matter how hard we were hit, walk it off. We expected life to be hard and relished the good times. I think this attitude is lost now. It's a damn shame.
I saw Frank Sinatra several times over the yesrs in Las Vegas and I saw him in Vancouver, B.C. in both August 1976 and again in April 1986 (he was 71 at thst time), each time I saw him, he was perfection. So much stage presence, so much charm and charisma, and he knew exactly what his voice was capable of as he aged, and he adjusted accordingly. Bar none, the best "singer performer" I have ever seen. Can't saw which of his legendary tunes is my favourite, absolutely love them all.
Just found you young man. Great reaction. Frank Sinatra, That's Life, brings me back to Brooklyn 1960s my Mom single Mom my 2 brothers rough time and this song!! And my Mom was the biggest lover of 'Ol Blue Eyes. Thank you so much!
I grew up in the sixties and seventies. People of my generation didn't listen to Frank Sinatra. But I shared an appartement with a girl. She had an LP from Frank Sinatra: In the wee small hours of the morning. Beautiful! The voice, the timing. Perfect! You could try this song ....
He was also a member of " The Rat Pack". Seeing them perform together is a hoot! It was an entirely different "class" of entertainment then. So glad you are finding such a wide variety of music!
Just recently Ive seen where Leonardo DiCaprio is going to play Frank in a biopic by Martin Scorsese. Im really anxious to see that when done, always been a fan of "Ole Blue Eyes". ❤️
Loved your reaction. That song has gotten me through many tough times in my life. I loved your description of masculinity and class. That summed up Sinatra perfectly. Fly me to the Moon is another one of my favorites. Enjoy your Sinatra journey. He was one of a kind.
Love him. One of my faves….the best is yet to come. One of the best opening lyrics ever… “out of the tree of life, I just picked me a plum.” When my daughter was about 3, I had one of his CDs in the car & she was belted out his song from the backseat. Her rendition of “luck be a lady” was participle hilarious.
A Sinatra Classic , I have some many of his Classic, "Come Fly with Me" " Summer wind" " All the Way" "Cycles" " I Got you under My Skin" " The Lady is a Tramp" and much more.
Mr. Polo, Looking at your face watching Sinatra makes me happy. Feel good forever! My father always said, “Sinatra is in a class by himself.” I love ❤️ you Pol0.
How wonderful to hear Frank once in a while. No one like him. And THAT'S LIFE is one of those songs with which most everyone can relate. Thanks, Polo! Suggestion: FRANK SINATRA SINGS FOR ONLY THE LONELY album has a gorgeous song entitled "Goodbye" composed by Gordon Jenkins in 1935 and was used by Benny Goodman as his ending theme for his performances.
I just looked up reactions to Frankie.. and you came up first.. My Daddy's birthday in heaven is 6 minutes from now.. my Daddy loved Frank Sinatra.. thank you for your reaction..
My daughter would sing this song in her car seat from the backseat when she was a little one. Mr. Sinatra (as he was known in my house) calmed her down. Her father and grandfather saw Frank live in concert. He did command the stage from the stories I heard. Nice review as always. Take care 🙂
You nailed it, Polo. I needed to hear this today. right now, I'm in the picking myself up and throwing myself back in the game stage. Imma have this on repeat today, maybe tomorrow, probably the next day we'll see. thank you, my friend
Oh Frank, you’re truly missed. My husband and I argue about Frank lol He says he couldn’t sing he just talked. He calls him the first rapper! I get so mad lol but I guess some people just never got Frank. I did and I still do! He was the first singer I introduced to my son when he was five. He’s 24 and still loves him! In fact we were driving back from a Florida vacation (14 hours) and our son decided to play Frank non stop for the first hour! We both were laughing so hard at my husband rambling on and spoofing him! Thanks Polo!
Songs like this one have such an impact on us. I would also suggest Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World”-a happy message, but with a tinge of sadness. And sooo BEAUTIFUL.
Frank always said he was just a Saloon Singer. Frank was also part of he famous "Rat Pack" with Errol Flynn, Nat King Cole, Mickey Rooney, Frank Sinatra and others who met casually at the Holmby Hills home of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. In the 1960s, the group featured Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, and (before falling out with Sinatra in 1962) Peter Lawford.
Frank Sinatra was and will always be the greatest singer and entertainer icon ever. He was bigger than life itself. His music sold 150 million albums worldwide. He performed in front of presidents. Kings and queens and was also a huge movie star. There will never be the life of him ever again

You nailed it! Great review.
One of my favorites, I've made a few people pretty angry sending this song when they weren't on top of their game.
The world keeps turning.
☕🐝🇺🇸
I remember singing along with Frank Sinatra as a little girl when my parents played his albums. This is one of my favorites.
“Nancy” is also a must listen, Polo! Such a beautiful piece, masterfully sung and delivered by the one and only Frank Sinatra.
at 79 I am so lucky to have seen old blue eys on tv and now see a to me young man enjoying what I hve seen
That song, and Sinatra, were emblematic of the era and the American mindset. Men were men and we learned, early on, that no matter how hard we were hit, walk it off. We expected life to be hard and relished the good times. I think this attitude is lost now. It's a damn shame.
Yes exactly.
That's all true.
Men were men? And what are they now, zebras?
@lunadyana3330 Testosterone levels have dropped a lot. As a result, many men now think they're women.

No doubt one of the all time greats!
Just found you young man. Great reaction. Frank Sinatra, That's Life, brings me back to Brooklyn 1960s my Mom single Mom my 2 brothers rough time and this song!! And my Mom was the biggest lover of 'Ol Blue Eyes. Thank you so much!
One of my all time favorite songs! Actually discovered it from a Tiny Hawk Pro Skater game😂
I grew up in the sixties and seventies. People of my generation didn't listen to Frank Sinatra. But I shared an appartement with a girl. She had an LP from Frank Sinatra:
In the wee small hours of the morning. Beautiful! The voice, the timing. Perfect! You could try this song ....
Frank Sinatra, man. He never put a foot wrong. Unsurpassed.
Wow! What a selection! Fantastic! 🥰 Looking forward to more!
Loved your reaction. That song has gotten me through many tough times in my life. I loved your description of masculinity and class. That summed up Sinatra perfectly. Fly me to the Moon is another one of my favorites. Enjoy your Sinatra journey. He was one of a kind.
I have a couple Frank Sinatra albums on Amazon. Love it. My favorites are "Moonlight in Vermont" and "One for my Baby". They're all good though.
Love him.
One of my faves….the best is yet to come.
One of the best opening lyrics ever… “out of the tree of life, I just picked me a plum.”
When my daughter was about 3, I had one of his CDs in the car & she was belted out his song from the backseat.
Her rendition of “luck be a lady” was participle hilarious.
Love your interpretation of the song, it helps ... Hope your day is great
Such a great song, and I too needed to hear this today. Hugs and positive vibes to you. I just love hearing your reactions. Thanks so much
A Sinatra Classic , I have some many of his Classic, "Come Fly with Me" " Summer wind" " All the Way" "Cycles" " I Got you under My Skin" " The Lady is a Tramp" and much more.
He was also a master of phrasing.
Because he has great breath control.
My Parent Loved Sinatra .. And he was a pretty actor to
Sinatra is a legend!! Love your reactions and the respect you give artists. Thank you!
What a great reaction, Polo. You make us feel what you’re feeling so well!
Mr. Polo,
Looking at your face watching Sinatra makes me happy. Feel good forever! My father always said, “Sinatra is in a class by himself.” I love ❤️ you Pol0.
I discovered him awhile back and he has a song for every situation. What a guy.
Ahhhh, Frank Sinatra, The Chairman of the Board!
Don't forget.. Old Blue Eyes
CHILLS: EVERY TIME!! He is JUST SO GOOD!! GREAT rabbit hole to dive into, Polo!! ENJOY! THANKS for the AWESOME REACTIONS!!
Take care 🙂
Thank you so much for this one !
Great song and a great performance. Haven't heard it for years.
My Dad loved Sinatra so I’ve heard him and all of “The Rat Pack”. Sinatra, Otis Redding, Sammy Davis Jr, etc… Your reaction is spot on, as always!
Check out “I Only Have Eyes For You” live by Frank Sinatra - perfection!
Mom heart love. Great pick !!!
Polo, your openmindedness to the different genres of music is incredible ♡
Thanks for your openness and featuring such a variety artists.
Too many great Sinatra songs to pick one but, I will: “Summer Breeze”
Frank Sinatra was and will always be the greatest singer and entertainer icon ever. He was bigger than life itself. His music sold 150 million albums worldwide. He performed in front of presidents. Kings and queens and was also a huge movie star. There will never be the life of him ever again
Frank is The Man. And everyone knew what it meant to be a man. Respect.
Had to edit for Sammy and Dean!
Polo, wait until you discover the Rat Pack❤❤❤
