Fun project! I did the same with my Traxxas Rally Fiesta ST XO-1. I hit 108mph year in a half ago. And it's pretty much the same as yours. So I know you can figure it out. Keep at it and you'll achieve it your goal. That's part of the hobby. The slash looks mean too.👍🏽💯
Dude that is one hell of a bad ass looking rig!! Your pulling sum pretty good speeds bro keep trying......pls! You managed to hit 80 mph so what's 20 more LOL. I stumbled onto your channel a few months ago and have been following you ever since and love seeing all the different locations you get to go to. I only wish I had the opportunity to do that!
Awesome videos!!!! You might want to find a flatter road, usually roads are built with a 2% grade and the road you’re using seems greater than 2%. I love your videos, KEEP ON TRUCKING YOUNG MAN!!!! 🇺🇸❤️🤘🏽🏁 Happy RC’ing Y’all!!!!
Have you considered looking into the perfect pass module. Basically you can go full throttle and it will bring you up to speed smoothly. You can adjust how long it takes to ramp up. You are pretty smooth, but maybe if you don’t have to focus on throttle, you can focus on steering. Also, if you turn down your steering sensitivity and percentage your car will go straighter and need less input on the steering to correct.
Thanks! 😉…I’ve never actually heard of the perfect pass module?…turning the input down seems like a pretty good idea…getting the power to the ground before I run out of range is probably the most difficult hurdle I’ll have to conquer
@@RCKnockout I bought one for my Rustler 4x4 that I have upgraded for speed runs with a Mamba Mosnter X and Castler 1515 2200kv motor. I put the centre differential in with a 50t spur and 25t pinion all in the stock location. If you want to check out some good speed run videos and info, Raz Shifrin has a bunch of helpful videos. And he is the guy who talks about perfect pass. He does some crazy speeds with his cars and recently put out a video series on step by step how to build a 150mph limitless
I’m gonna give the Traxxas XO-1 tires a try. They are 109mm diameter so bigger than the hoons, and rated to 100mph. I believe they are all balanced and everything too
Looking at the wheel, it doesn't look like the tire was actually glued. It might have been (barely) glued along the edges, but the rest appears to have had no glue.
I definitely feel your pain. I tried with my first 2wd and only reached 80mph as well on 4s. It's definitely hard to keep it grounded. I've been watching since the beginning so hang in there don't give up. Tire wise I feel really good with GRP S5's as I run them on my 120mph infraction and they stick good and are less expensive then hoons. They also seem to be available almost always at my lhs. Hang in there bro it's coming.
