Your persistence is legendary. Dunno what kind of diff oil you're using, but maybe consider going with something heavier as the road look very uneven. Decreasing steering sensitivity might also help. At that speed you only really need micro adjustments to keep it in a straight line.
Nolan, that was awesome. Get better tires, shave as much weight as possible. Make sure you're adjustments don't unbalance the rc overall. Soon you'll be hitting that 100mph+. And I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Excellent progress, that's a really great speed. Keep up the great work. 👍 😎 Do you think you could do anything with the nose to make it more sloped, may reduce drag and increase stability? 👍
@@RCKnockout I always enjoy your enthousiasme when making these vids. The content is nice too but your way of recording is primary for me. Keep on the good work my friend 👍
I’d get new foams or some GRP pre mounted belted tires. I’m running grp rims and tires on my rustler project sitting at stock height and no splitter it hits 70 with ease. Getting a splitter and dropping it to the ground I should hit 120 on 6s. I’ve been hitting 70 on 4s with just over half throttle.
@@RCKnockout As long as their better that’s all that matters. I’m going to get a pair of foams soon as my asphalt roads are extremely slippery with almost any tire compound I throw at them. Just got factory bumpers and a new pair of hot racing 17mm offset conversions for it as well. Hopefully it’ll take some of the wobble out of the steering.
Getting there... New foams should make a difference. I think you need a smoother road because that one is kinda rough.. Keep on bashing, from Barrie Ontario Canada
It's a good project! Love the content. But I rekon if you make some changes on it you can easily achieve the target. Here are somethings that I think you should change/do. (You may have done some of it. You can ignore this if you want to haha) - Tyres: I rekon you should stop buying the cheap ones. They seem to destroy in a couple of runs. You crashing 'coz of the tyres mean you end up spending more time fixing/replacing other things. Do it once, do it right. - I rekon get a new body without those cutouts being covered with duck tape. Duck tape adds more weight. Weight is okay as long as it has a balance. - Get a new front lip. Those cracks won't help when it's trying to push the whole car down.z - I'm not sure if you've done this, but lower the front end. That was the car pushes the air upwards from the front (Formula 1 cars follow this method, but that directs the air to the rear wing. That's just next level haha..) - Get rid of the cable ties too. They all effect the aero of it when it's going at that speed. - Make some wheel arches on the chassis to reduce the air from going inside. - I also think that you should try it on a smoother tarmac and definitely not on a windy day like on this video. How I see it is that your motor and things has the power but can't put down the power to the ground and to stop it from going out of control. So it come down to the aero and the tyres. You may have seen Kevin Talbot's RUclips videos on the 200mp/h car. You could probably get some more tips from his stuff. Good luck! Hoping to see you get to that 100mp/h mark!
Appreciate man! You definitely bring up some good points…I have some better foam wheels and tires coming….I’m not sure if I can find a better piece of road near me??…..I might actually take the wheelie bar off the back…I’m not sure if I need it…also putting some inner fenders on seems like a great idea…thanks for the recommendations!!

I’ve been told that could help for speed runs…..I’m just not sure if I want to do that yet….I have a center diff…..if anything I might put higher viscosity diff fluid in that first and see what that does
Did you scuff the surface of the rim before glueing them ? Yeah you definitely need some new foam tires I think you can definitely get 100mph on some good tires 86mph not bad Keep at it bro you will hit 100mph and higher 🔥👍✌️
To be honest, those tyres do not seem high quality. Instead of using second-glue, maybe you could use a flexible type of glue like Tec7 or something comparable. When the tires deforming when accelerating, this type of glue can flex instead of cracking like the normal tire-glue
@@RCKnockout no it is a high quality flexible glue that’s used in the building-construction. It is quite heavy but it has some great specs. It stays flexible instead of being hard and braking when being disformed.
I believe you get what you pay for so with that being said get the right equipment to get the job done right. Please buy a new splitter no matter how much glue you throw on it it'sgonna break under load. Get grp wheels and tires not cheap Chinese knock offs. Get a new body: because that one is toast. It's only allowing you down

Yeah it’s still running the stock fluid…I could put thicker fluid in the center diff though….yeah I should try decreasing the steering sensitivity too
