Go grp tires or maybe hoons for sure and 17mm hex adapter. And Go with a hobbywing Max 8 or castle 6s esc. And a more aerodynamic body. Then 100mph would be no problem
I'm super stoked about your 100mph AWD SCT, pushing limits with r/c is so fun. -I probably would've modified the reciever box with stand offs over the chassis brace.
I’m actually three weeks ahead. So I’m actually filming the 7th episode now. I can tell you without a doubt the chassis brace isn’t gonna work. I’ve had to change a lot of other stuff too
I'm running the xo1 spiral cut differential gears front and rear in my speed slash.. I went threw 2 to 3 rear diffs before the xo1s. Haven't had a problem since
@@thomasdowneyjr.4162 lol...you must not be watching the “Cheapest Traxxas Slash” Series? I already went brushless with my 2wd Slash. I actually put in a stock setup with the vxl3s esc and the 3500kv velineon motor lol 😂
I know this video series started almost a year ago but I just found it and love it!
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. 👍🏼👍🏼🤟🏼🤪
Appreciate it! I’m glad you’re enjoying the series!
Yes you probably could use the tires on a custom build car to get up to 100 like a 1/16 custom setup
Yeah LOL has he seen a drift car?
Actually I already used them on my 1/16 erevo. I just put a video out. It worked out pretty well

Thanks! I definitely want to try to maintain a short course body but I’m sure a lot of modifications will have to be done to make that work
50Mph the truck will blow over!
Aerodynamics will be your friend after that.
2wd Slash 101mph end of last season. 120 is my goal with that build.
For sure! Best of luck to you!
@@RCKnockout same to you
@@lenniekroher3740 thanks!

So cool man. I can't wait to see how fast it runs.
100 mph
@@brysonkuhn3290 yeah he is trying to reach 100 but there are many factors that might limit that.
Thanks! It’s definitely gonna be a process to reach that goal!

Nice! I’ve actually never had a diff issue with any of my slash’s. Of course I’ve never run them above 3S until now lol 😂
That ecs came from the redcat shedder xte v2
Thanks! I thought it was called an xte lol 😂
That body will cause a huge crash btw
Nice vid dude
No doubt. I’ll have to make modifications to the body. Thanks by the way! 😉

You can never have too much power!
