It was all him in the voice lines. He finished his lines for this game around the same time he was finishing recording for the Animated series Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3 (so this is his last voicing of him in games actually, where as the Part 3 hasnt come out and wont till late this year.)
I do agree and worry that they might try and add more lines with AI, as you said, tho. You pretty much said it. Warner Bros. Would Nickel and Dime their mothers if they could.

There's that bit where a telepathy is mind reading supes to find their real life identities. They get Clark Kent from Superman etc but all they get from Batman is Batman because he thinks of himself as Batman, Bruce Wayne is his alter-ego 😂

captain boomerang should just throw weapons as boomerangs, and have them shoot as they spin. shark should whack people with them and they shoot from impact. or, you know, don't give them all guns

Batman is a yellow lantern in name at least. He has his own Yellow Lantern ring that he keeps in a vault if needed. Sinestro gave it to him in hopes the power would tempt him. Also I don't remember if it's canon but Green Lantern rings occasionally come to him because his willpower is just to strong. I know he's often depicted as someone who's willpower is so strong he can casually remove the Green Lantern rings off Green Lanterns.
Iirc, they tend to be sent to him when their users are in danger and they send their rings away to protect them.
I was wondering if that could happen considering that part where they get the lantern ring and have to remove it.
I was confused as to why people don't do it to the lanterns generally if it was so easy to do in the game so thanks for dropping that fact.
@@RobinRhombus2 I remembered green lantern rings flying to him. I just didn't remember the context outside Batman felt I think annoyed. I don't even remember where I saw it which is why I questioned weather it was canon.
Parallax, the Fear Entity that powers the yellow lantern rings described Batman as a "Worshiper of Fear".
Batman said nothing but looked _remarkably_ uninpressed, even by batman standards.
He's had a green ring in the Darkest Knight alt universe storyline. I don't think he's ever actually picked up any power ring. (I could be wrong though).
Heck, even Superman has had at least 3 (Green white and black).
@@SymbioteMullet He's been invited into the Green Lantern corps before and has had one off event's where he's wielded a green lantern ring (don't remember if his wielding of the Green Lantern ring were canon) but has turned down the Green Lantern offers. Sinestro is the only one in canon who has had the balls to go nope here's your ring any way I know you will use it eventually. He did the same to Black Adam so it's just something Sinestro does. Batman locked it away in a vault with his personal motherbox.
Harley has had so many iconic looks, from Arkham Asylum's crazy nurse to the anime hammer wielding Bombshell Harley.😁
And speaking of giving everyone powers, I don't mind Harley's enhanced abilities thanks to Joker Serum/Ivy's chems as it helps avoid the common complaint of how "unrealistic" her fights are.
its fine for her to be normal strength/stamina etc when she just stays in Gotham but once you start interacting with the League you cant just be normal. So its an easy way to make it work especially since she doesn't have the excuse f 'im batman' for why she can keep up.
DCAU is a missed opportunity to be called DC Gold.
I totally agree with you guys. People seem to have forgotten that one of Batman's greatest story arcs came because he lost to one of his villains (bane)
In regards Kevin Conroy, the wording was sus because he's not in the game for very long. No AI needed.
Not to defend Batman's seemingly endless ability to dodge these beams, but at least on the DCAU, I was under the impression that the Omega Beams didn't hit Batman because they hit the goon, but if there wasn't a goon there, Bats would be toast. Kinda looked like it repeated all of Batman's moves, so it essentially hit the goon because it got in the way after he landed on it. It probably depends on how the writer decides how the beam follows its target at the time, because I couldn't find anything saying exactly how it works.
For all I know, it could just aim for whatever Darkseid is looking at until it hits, so breaking line of sight could negate the aim, or it goes to wherever the target was at that one particular moment, like how some follow ai in video games work, which is how the DCAU beams seem to work. Maybe it DS has to see then in his minds eye, so distracting hin could cancel the aiming? Just guesses and theory here.
Exactly. Line of sight is the DCAU version. In the comics? Well...
Exactly it's a beam of anti energy so they don't travel the same way a laser would. It's like Darkseid wants the victim to know there about to die. So the beams travel only as fast as they need in order to invoke that fear. So for someone like the Flash the beams are going to travel much faster then for Dan Turpin a normal cop who was able to turn around and see the beams coming after they were fired. As for Batman that's more then enough time to move and think. DCAU Batman has pretty much stayed peek human with no extremely out there feats. As far as comics Batman and Omega Beams it seems like Omega Beams just work differently for him.
@@Legacyartistthat explains it, thanks! So pretty much like the top speed of the target, then, or something like that? It does give him enough time to deal with it, certainly, and the Flash isn't great at dodging attacks at the same speed as him. Considering Darkseid, he probably doesn't consider anybody a true threat, so he's pretty much toying with them.
@@dcbandit That's how it works in the DCAU. As far as comics it seems to mostly work that way with some inconsistence.
Actually Kevin is supposed to appear as BTAS version in part 3 of crisis on infinite earths he had already recorded lines for it
Prime Harley and Ivy are a couple and are sorta outside members of the bat family, Ivy for a good long while outside of mind control has been on the straight and narrow and thanks to that Batman trusts her and because Ivy is viewed as a positive influence on Harley that trust extends to Harley to an extent
It's funny how you mentioned Warframe in this as my mirage is styled like harley quinn from the animated series

Ngl, some of my favourite iterations of Harley Quinn are Lego Batman/DC Super Villain versions. Funny and faithul renditions.
Quick reminder. Harley Quinn starred out in animated series because they had to draw/fill a generic henchman role for episodes or adaptation of a comic. And, instead of making a new character for generic henchman A, they just reused Harley Quinn and then rolled with it. A good example is the laughing fish. The comic didn't have Harley Quinn but the episode did. Her full origin story came in the Batman: the animated series comic (The Batman Adventures) first, which was later made into an episode.
I mention this because people often forget that she started out, and was mean to be a side character. But when they rolled with it, she was such a good character that they did more and more with her as a character.
My one pet peeve is that people think she's a blonde. As per the Harlequinade episode, "And here you probably think I was just some bubble headed blonde bimbo. Well, the joke's on you. I'm not even a real blonde."

Harley getting the super powers with the rings and The Hammer was a one episode issue joke. Red and black power rings together gave her her red and white suit but as a lantern
Soeaking of Batman his cape, his standard, normal, everyday cape. That he wears in his day to day is designed to allow Batman to survive re-entry from space.
Not re-entry using an escape pod.
Not re-entry using a green lantern construct.
just re-entry of a dude in space, no space vehicle, no magic or scifi powers or anything. He literally fell to earth from ORBIT and his cape is what kept him alive
To make it even more ridiculous he managed to aim himself so well that he landed right outside the Fortress of Solitude and walked off the crash landing.
They definitely nailed the characters and the stroy in suicide squad, with how Conroy was hamming up the evil Batman it seemed like he was enjoying it!

Batman is a superhero meme. He can beat anyone and do anything that's the point 😂 He's not a hero he's a rich guy who doesn't have to suffer from the crime and continues to let them happen because he wants to fulfill his need to feel like a hero due to his trauma of not being able to save his parents. Batman is objectively my favorite DC property because how I read his character. I see it more as a story of caution.

The "Daddy's Monster" shirt would have been fine if the rest of her costume design wasn't so shit.
Her leathers usually look pretty good; but I do think they were too skimpy in Arkham which sucks cause the pinned-on nurse outfit over her leathers was amusing.
My favourite characters in all of DC are Harley, Ivy, and Red Lantern Supergirl. I think DC has some neat ideas(the Lantern Corps and assorted Forces) they just don't do anything interesting with them, Marvel at least does interesting things with their stuff.
People comparing their relationship to Harley and Joker’s will be one of those things that will never stop. Hilarious but depressing.

To be fair to the omega beam dodging it just hit a different target, otherwise we was about to get wrecked. But Batman can in no way beat any version of the Scarlet Witch. That is ridiculous. 😅
Probably the most weird think is that the Arkham series storyline ended with an easteregg during the beggining of the game... I can spoil it under the coments

Regarding the everyone has been a Lantern, SHAGGY has been a Yellow Lantern. Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
Been playing Suicide Squad a bit, and I don't dislike it! Story wise I'm digging it, gameplay is a bit homogenous between characters at first, but starts to branch out as you level up and start specializing in the trees.
Most of the hate seems to be from people upset that they put a pride flag in the game that's easily missed, and the fact that Batman isn't invincible.
I've seen a lot of hate towards the gameplay, repetitive missions and just the entire fact that it's not what most of us wanted out of the Arkham game developers.
I'm not denying there is good in the game, but this criticism definitely goes way beyond a few conservative idiots.

Too heavy of a reliance on firearms is what made Crackdown so boring.
Every time batman kills superman i roll my eyes. Its superman. Yes batman has prep time but super can can lazer batmans head of before the first move.
Batman has plot armor, That is his super power, so all your guy'sssssss bitching about nuh uh he couldn't dodge the omega beams though, but, but he could though cause his super power is plot armor.
In the animated series at least I always took it as Darkseid uses his omega beams to torment his victim he want's you to know death was coming so the beams are only as fast as they need to be. Turpin was able to turn around and see them coming after they were fired and he was just an old cop with a mouth. They never seemed to move at a consistent speed there not lasers or light based but the personification of your impending death. So I always took it as Batman outsmarting Darkseid rather then him dodging something the Flash struggles to outrun. Even in the comics it seems to work that way some times at least. I mean Batman had time to fire off a gun while standing still before the Omega Beams hit him. That's just been my interpretation of it. Now Batman crashing down to earth from outer space and walking it off in his normal ass bat-suite that's plot armor.
