Among Americans this is sometimes called an "Arnold Palmer" chicfila in America calls this a "sunjoy" because Arnold Palmers are trademarked I believe.
Wow this is awesome for my iced teas! Love your channel with simple and amazing recipes. I'm wondering if you can make a coconut syrup. I think that'll be perfect for summer that's coming
Riza, thank you for the great ideas and recipes! However, your description did not have the recipe for Lemon Tea. I saw that you used brewed Earl Grey tea. I expect that I’ll love the flavors of Lemon Tea because I love Earl Grey! Where can I find the recipe for Lemon Tea, please? I want to add it to my recipe collection. Thank you for such informative and engaging videos. I just subscribed.
I love Earl Grey too! It really is up to you. With my lemon syrup I put 1.5oz for a 16oz cup. The tea should be about 5oz. This is the proportion that I use. I keep a bottle of lemon syrup for my tea or simply for a lemon soda or a lemon mint soda :-)
Hello, the syrup thickens when it cools down. I usually boil only once after adding the sugar to avoid further unnecessary evaporation or potential crystallisation...my style :-)
@@rizasri oh totally, I suggest checking it out though it really changes the flavor to simmer it after being made. Also no heat you can just cover the peels in sugar and macerate it. Macerated and simmered it takes on a very rich and full lemon flavor. I’m sure yours is great just suggestions for you to try!
Works. Made 700ml of powerful syrup from 11 lemons. It will yield almost limitless amounts of lemonade.
I do this at home for my lemon juice too :-)
Lemon always makes me feel refreshed. Esp calamansi here locally in the Philippines. Thanks for the video tutorial Ms.Riza 😊
My pleasure 😊
Fresh calamansi is hard to find in U.S. Usually, I make syrup with limes and lemons separately. Thanks for your take on lemon syrup
I didn't know that tea and lemon is a nice pair. I'm gonna try this with my lipton tea 😍😊 we love lemon juice especially in the summer!
Oh, where are you from? Lemon tea is very popular in my part of the world :-)

I would not do it myself but you can surely try.

Stevia comes to mind. Honey diluted with hot water also works.

Riza ,can I use jaggery syrup instead of sugar
Hello, if it makes sense to you and it can be converted to liquid it should be fine? I have not tried it at all. :-)
I’d suggest further double boiling the end mixture, too watery
