Just a word of caution. The video is about 3% fasted than it should be due to editing mistake. Sorry for that! Instagram - instagram.com/digitalstereophony/ Facebook - facebook.com/DigitalStereophony/ Buy me a coffe here: www.buymeacoffee.com/dsaudio.review
To me the T7V's have an overall pleasing sound but the Tannoys are more precise and revealing. I'd love to hear a comparison between the Focal Alpha 65 EVO and the JBL LSR305. Your videos are very helpful! Thanks!
Agreed friend. In a park outdoors on a calm day one can get a measurement with a calibrated microphone and compare that to the same speakers in their intended room to get a good idea of how the room affects response at the listening position. Varied directivity patterns between the different speaker designs would also affect perception in the video as wider directivity imparts more energy onto reflective surfaces.
Almost a dead heat to me, except I prefer the cohesiveness of the Co-axial driver in the Tannoy. How loud do you play these when recording at the microphone position? Average volume around 75, 80, 85 db? Thanks, I am going to subscribe, as I need new desktop speakers.
How are these Adams compared to Tanniy Reveals? I have the 4 or 5" and i think about something bigger. Having that for my Vinyl player tho in living room.
How did you adjust the Tannoy treble level in the front?? That is crucial to get a natural "ssss" sound, on human voices. I got a vintage Tannoy cheviots. My energy level is set to - 1.
in my opinion you should rather change the musics of test to detect more sound difficult to find..and to have a good conclusion after the listening..excuse me it is only an opinion and I respect your choice
The Adams seem to accentuate the mid-highs in a mix where as the Tannoys pulls this back a bit as exemplified by the snare sounds in some of the songs. Would probably pick the Tannoy from this demo.
Busco altavoces para escuchar exclusivamente Metal (Black, Death, Viking, etc) en todas las comparativas donde más noto la diferencia es en el Metal comparado con las fuentes original. Que me marca y modelo me recomiendan para Metal ?
Unfortunately, they are too colorful for mixing as far as I’m concerned. The low end is brilliant for a 7 inch, but over all inconsistent with their frequency response. However, leaving graphs aside, the Adams still win due to their shimmering sound above 6k. That will change the way you process vocals especially and that’s crucial as the human voice is objectively the most important aspect in a song for most people. Even if they don’t have the same low end response (the 70 Hz area is where Tannoys really have an edge, but that’s about it) Adam’s win for me due to their on versatility.
I tell ya, don't buy the T7V's They are bad as hell, no lows. Metal sounded mid. NO GO Bought them yesterday and today they are gonna go straight back. They sounded better in the shop but they have probably a sub somewhere hidden. Just awfull
The Tannoy has a more even dynamic range in sound. Seems to stand up to all kinds of music especially rock. Adams are very clear on the top, but very tin like to sharp. Ear fatigue. Wears on you mixing.

I Love my Tannoy Gold 7!
Ez win for Tannoy Gold 7 (listened on Tannoy Gold 7)
One might say you are biased lmao
I can see that room acoustics contribute significantly into the recording. In my opinion, speakers can be recorded better in a near-field setting.

is it just me or the sound / video is sped up a bit?
it definitely is, its just strange no one noticed as i read comments

*This is neck and neck, however the adams are a bit more aggressive sounding, to me the gold are more true to source but it is very close.*

Tannoy 👌
Tannoy Gold 7s for me, far more precise for mixing.
What I'm getting is that if I like how it sounds on the Tannoy's, it'll translate well. I feel wanting to change things on the T7V's
Tannoy Gold 5 vs Focal Alpha Evo 50 please!!
T8V vs A7X please!!!!!!!!!!!
Tannoy Gold 7 representa mejor la pista original. Pero el Adam Audio T7V me gusto.
Saludos
tannoy gold 7 vs kali LP 6 please
Yo personalmente me quedo con Adam Audio porque adoro su calidad de sonido, pero creo que los Tannoy tienen un a respuesta más plana.
Kali IN-5 vs IN-8 V2? Btw. DSAUDIO, how about a hissing contest? 😂

Imagaging, Soundstage, Layering and separation goes to adam ❤

The Tannoy Gold 7's have more bass, but the Adams have more clarity, Im gonna go with the adams
I think you might have recorded at 44.1 Khz and put it in a 48 Khz project or something or you sped the music up?
Damn, it is ssped up. Thanks for the heads up!
Hey DS, you should totally try the Swans M500.
Tannoy is good

tannoy,yamaha
ADAM 🔥
Tannoy gold 8 Vs Tannoy Reveal 802
Adam has much faster transients reaction, Best for mixing and mastering.
Tannoy Gold 7 mids better!
Tannoy gana fácilmente, tiene un sonido mucho más abierto.
I can't hear a lot of attacks on Tannoys which is...not pretty welcome!
Tannoy 👍
Playback speed at 0.95 as the song sped up a bit at 1.0 speed
The overall pitch of the sound is set high. XD
And fast forward
Dude, your audio seems to have a wrong sample rate than usual.
Please test th Behringer Truth 🙏
Against Event 2020BAS :)
Tannoy's are better for mixing..
why? почему так считаешь?

@@tudorpetrea2414 So, would you suggest me to buy the Adam ones if I was to produce techno with mostly no or little vocals?
Would actually go for the tannoys on that. Just cause the low end is better and i think you ll need a better representation of that for techno
Tannoy gold for home pleasure, Adam for mixing. And not interchangeable.
I tell ya, don't buy the T7V's They are bad as hell, no lows. Metal sounded mid. NO GO
Bought them yesterday and today they are gonna go straight back.

The Adam bass is shocking over done
Tannoy = stereo, Adam = dual mono
Tannin wins
What most fail to ever even realize is the tannoy is pushing 300w that's where you hear the difference
Hi i am interested in the Tannoy Could you elaborate your comment ? i like the coaxial approach of the Tannoy dual concentric Thanks and regards gino
