I never get tired watching bike rides in beautiful scenery 👍There is certainly a huge amount of discontent regards the state of the roads, I met up with a mate yesterday and half the time we exchanged whinges about just how bad the roads are now. So you not alone 😁
As mentioned in the vid, I really don’t like ranting but just can’t help it. We are encouraged by all road safety “experts” to look ahead, but we are finding ourselves looking down, a few feet in front of us. If I hit one of those craters (marked with white lines), I am pretty sure there would at least be damage to the bike, worst case scenario is that I would have an off. Crazy 🤬 Cheers
Thank you, kind of you to say. The Osmo Action 3 is so good at recording “what we see”, the colours being true to life. I think the audio is possibly about right now, will have to hear what it’s like now on higher speeds. Cheers
Beautiful ride Ian that pub looks ok they are some naughty motorhome drivers out there that deliberately do that leave there taps open dirty people splashes all over you about pot holes what happened years ago once they filled them they used to use red hot tar around them to seal the joins you don’t see that no more 👍👍
Definitely, anything for a cheap fix. Yes, some motorhome/caravan owners do it so that the remaining water, swills round the tank and fully empties. Ok for them, not so good for anyone on two wheels behind them 🤬 The new camera really does highlight the beautiful scenery, the different colours of spring. Autumn should be good too. Cheers
30-40 is a nice speed very relaxing Love all your videos I really enjoy the narration of the various things you pass would enjoy the historical context of the sights if you know that information As an American your country is so beautiful to see
Unfortunately, I don’t really know any history about the area, as I am an incomer. This is why sometimes I just take a photo of information boards. I will try harder though, but I wouldn’t want to give false information, only to feel the wrath of the keyboard warriors 😂. Thanks for your support, 30-40 is ok on the lanes, but 50 ish is better on the wider roads. I have a few guys from the US, and most enjoy our walls, hedgerows and scenic vistas. Cheers
Nice ride Ian, visited Windermere many years ago, much has changed, at Bowness a whole new Shopping complex has appeared on the lake front ! That's progress I suppose, any way, it's still a lovely spot to visit. Cheers DINO and Fam.
To be honest, it’s not my usual kind of place to visit, far too busy, but in this case, it was a point of interest en-route to the steep hill. I hadn’t stopped or taken any interest in all those buildings, so haven’t a clue what they are 😂 Cheers
What a lovely ride and the roads seemed very quite which surprised me in the lakes Ian , I thought it would be heaving with tourists .I definitely need self canceling indicators it's a bad habit of mine so maybe I need to become paranoid 😉.The problem is when these utility companies dig holes all over the road they don't back fill and repair properly and why don't these pipes and cables run down the side of the road instead of digging down the middle and putting manholes all over the place especially on corners . The footage and sound is great very clear on both counts a pleasure to watch much enjoyed .👌👍
Love my set up now, just hope the mic copes with slightly swifter riding on Honour. As for the roads, here is a prime example ; locally, there is a new housing development being built. So the utilities company dug the middle of the left lane, months of traffic lights, plus chaos at the other end where normal traffic lights are. Eventually, the left lane was reopened, the surface now very uneven where they filled it in. Bugger me, less than one month later, the temporary lights were back up, and they were digging the road up again, where it had been before, plus to the right by about a foot too. Apparently, they hadn’t done the job correctly in the first place, and also decided to put something else underground at the same time. Now we have two very uneven lines up the left lane for about half a mile 🤬. Not only do utilities companies fcuk up, they also don’t talk to themselves, or each other……….we are doomed mate 🙄
Brill return ride. The piccies you took are awesome, Clem is defo photogenic and the scenery is well, amazing. You know Ian; I enjoy watching your rides on Clem so much; if RE bring out a 500 Classic I’m gonna part x Edna. I’ve ridden the 350 Meteor and Classic; the J series engine is brilliant but the 350 is a little close to my Himmy engine wise and my B31 too. You have the viewing perspective spot on, it’s like actually been on the bike, luv it. Cheers Mind how you go.
Nice ride Ian and yes the government puts the money in their pockets instead of the roads
Annoying 🤬

Great bike, Awesome scenery and nice weather... 😊 What if I told you, a good rant in the lid helps you to free your mind... Go on Ian, Free your mind!
😂 I often do have a eff and Jeff, then have to edit it out as YT doesn’t like it 😂
