Sometimes I watch these types of videos and get jealous of whoever is out camping in their rig and I'm just sitting at home, but Jason's videos are so down to earth and authentic I can't help but feel happy for him and totally forget about myself.
When I watched the drone over the trees, it hit me hard. The beauty of life, brought me to tears. I have a sibling dying of brain cancer, these pics help to calm my soul. I really needed it, thank you.
I’m not sure exactly what you’re looking for in a boot, but I work in trenches and live in the north east so I have a very suitable boot for you to try. They are called the cofra thermic boots. I have had my pair for 5 years wearing them everyday for work and just had them tear out. I use them for everything in the winter, they are the only boots to keep my feet warm during the winter months and have and have an optional insulator you can also add in for more warmth. I have actually never needed them that’s how well these boots work. I really really suggest them for ya they are water proof to the top of the boot also!
excellent editing ... love the first seconds of drone flight , "married "with the last second of wood "clanking" into a pile... music volume levels are genius.... unlike the recent trend , with the crazy loud music...
Crazy serene and beautiful spot. Your rig gets more dialed every time I watch a new video. Way nicer than the F250 with the RTT. Really like the pics of Daisy and your other dog above the bed!
Good to see you out in colder weather again, Highlight of this video (there were many) but when I saw the hand drawn pictures of Daisy and Wheeler.....it soothed this man's soul, I love your tribute to them in the VAN, I am sure when things are down, those pictures pick you up.....Take care and as usual, enjoyed your video ...... Be safe and stay cozy warm in the VAN!!!
Make sure you travel with a spare tire that’s off the rim. You can put the wood round in it and chop it up easier without the chopped wood flying everywhere when you chop it!! And mannn that roof awning is AWESOME!!!
3:30 AM...can't sleep...watching Jason live the good life. It's supposed to be in the mid-30's all week, with lows in the low teens. Reasonably clear and cold. You've made up my mind. I have several days of camp firewood stacked up, so why not use it? I'll be off to the Owyhees for a day or three this week. Thanks for the push Jason!
One of my favorite channels on YT, and for obvious reasons. Jason, your content is fantastic. I appreciate the quiet moments in between your narration. Another great adventure out into the snow. Thanks for taking us along.
I really love your photography and drone shots. I'll have to say for me, these are the videos I love the most, where you pull up where ever you want to, set up the van and cook all these really tasty looking meals, whether you cook inside or cook outside it must be so amazing to have everything you need right there with you, plus a nice campfire/ and or campfire cook with a glass of whisky, all van stuff is cool, it can't get much better than this. Thank you Jason for this adventure.
Back in the day I had a 1977 Chevy Van that I had converted to 4 WD. It had a 9 inch lift kit. Awesome vehicle. I drove it for over 300,000 miles. Went camping, off roading. With that vehicle & being 21 I was fearless. Truck never let me down. Seeing this video brought back some great memories. Thank you.
The beautiful cascade mountains 3 finger jack, 2 sister's broken top Mt bachelor and obsidian mountain. I can feel the mountain air as it whistles through the tall pines giving way a sweet pine aroma. Oh how my heart ❤️
Your videos are always beautiful and relaxing to the Soul. The best part, for me, was the pictures of your two dogs...still camping with you. Our departed animals always remain in a special, warm spot in our hearts...gone but not forgotten.
I love riding along & enjoy your videos keep them coming. I have to say i miss not seeing the dog's they always made me smile. I sure miss all mine that have gone too. I'll never be able to do what you do but i get to go from my chair at home Thanks for taking us along on the ride
Yea you need that beaver craft hatchet not the fiskars😊 i enjoy looking back at your old videos without the hightop and the woodstove. Can't beat the firewood handy right on the road on the way to camp😊
Great little shot of Wheeler & Daisy. I miss them and i know how much you do,because I lost my Cody Boy & Zoey back in 2019 and I think about them every day.Great video Jason!
We have a wood stove in our house for auxiliary heat when it gets really cold and weekends when we are home all day. I use the same splitting axe and I also have a Friskars 8 pound wood maul. That thing is a beast! Down here in the South, we never burn any softwoods in our heaters or fireplaces. Too much resin build up. We only burn really dry and seasoned hardwoods such as oak, hickory, maple, etc. Your videos always make me want to go camping and cook! I sure do miss seeing Daisy and Wheeler on these winter camps, though.
I bought a can of stag chili the same one you bought and some Italian sausage and some chili paste and made it and it was freaking delicious. Thanks for the simple recipe
Beautiful scenery. I miss snow You may consider adding a half pound of ground Bison to your chili next time, even better flavor than beef, less saturated fat, absolutely delicious
The variety of shots in this video is amazing. The editing of this video is maddening you’ve done such a wonderful job and have come very far with your craft. Great work good sir keep it up. -Will
Thank you for the nice views of nature ; I spend a lot of time hiking and I usually do not go much during the snow seasons . your videos are making me want to get out more in the winter
I love seeing the snow and your incredible Wheel Estate and camping 🏕 I always wish I could do this but I'm handicap with a brittle bone disease so my days are stuck indoors and on bedrest a lot but luckily I have your channel and RUclips in general to help me through the day by watching what looks fun and seeing these areas are absolutely beautiful. Take Care and Stay Safe.
What a great video Jason! Love the winter camping videos where you include a lot of the preps setting up and your general activities while at the camp. Thank you for an awesome channel!
Use Sno-seal around all the stitching and where the leather overlaps. Apply heavily, let warm and soak into the leather. My Smokejumpers are waterproofed like this. Have had a leak for over 12 years.
As you mentioned how you added the chilli paste I was thinking all he needs is a nice glass of whiskey, I was reaching for my bottle when I heard the cork pop. Had to be there. Amazing set up.
You know, for about 25 minutes I forgot about my little world and all its problems and found myself relaxed. Thanks!
Me too Steve ...but miss Wheeler and Daisy sharing those times with him ( I hope he gets one more dog)
@@Whistler326 THAT would certainly get a lot of well-derserved attention on this channel if he gets another dog.
@@Steve_Farwalker That would be ONE lucky dog.....thats for sure!!

I am 100% ok with you getting stuck in some snow! 😂

Loved this one. Also I never got to say how sorry I was to hear about Daisy. ❤AB

These are the type of videos that inspired me to take a spontaneous solo trip to Alaska in November. No regrets!

As you get older, this stuff is really what it's all about. The heck with the socializing in the clubs.
Aahh! Primal Outdoors therapy right there!
Great to see some snow again 😆

I go camping in the U.K. with my motorbike and sitting in a chair with a coffee as the sun comes up and then a nice bite of breakfast is priceless.
Watching this is my happy place.

An excellent video. It’s more than a documentary. It’s a well told story. By a guy at home with the world and himself.

I love snow. Unlucky, my country doesn't exist winter season 😥
only 200k subs? you should be at a Million. My favorite line "The Sun is rising in the East"
Dog bowls are the best, specially when you forget others , plus Bandit always knows he is going to get more,!,
The wind thru the pines (even at night!) adds great ambience to the video... Awesome
The sound of winter crackling wood, music to my ears

Man, life should be this simple always. We are too busy that we forget we only live once.
Livin life, beautiful,
You need a rack for yer back receiver for wood and such. They are quite handy and fairly cheap.
That scenery is beautiful
Sir your living my dream! Keep it going
snow camping is the best. no people and super quiet and calm like you said... excuse to have a fire.
Stagg chili..survivalist chili! Great deal at walmart. Not so full of junk..good stuff.
That awning really is a great addition. The previous one did it's job like a champ, but nice step up.
If nothing else….at least your eating well! That breakfast looked terrific! And dinner too! Thanks for the adventure!
Those shots are amazing, I need to step my game up.
The wind sounds nice
Dude. You were almost apologizing for what you cooked but that was perfect for the situation.
Yes! Snow season is the BEST!
