One of my favorite sayings is "There are three sounds that sooth the tired soul: Wind in the trees, water in the stream and rain on the canvas." You guys got all three, even though the trip didn't go as planned, so it was still worth every minute. Cheers!

2 of the heaviest hitters of how it's done when pursuing adventures and living like this. You 2 obviously have a wealth of previous experiences and knowledge that we all benefit from. I know you guys have to have a sense of humor. But I like how serious you both take excursions like this. Thanks for sharing. Seems like it must be RUclips van life requirement to show coffee being made during a segment like this?

It's a powerful and versatile power station that can keep your devices and appliances running for extended periods. Plus, it's waterproof, so you can take it on any adventure, rain or shine! Definitely worth considering for your next camping trip. Happy camping!

Despite all the bad weather, you fellows managed to put together a great camping trip.
I especially enjoy seeing your camping skills on display.
The gathering and chopping of wood, the food preparation, the fire pit, and even the whiskey, really make it real.
I admit to recently buying a $100 lava rock portable propane fire pit. It’s been a joy to use, and allows us to have a “real” fire in campgrounds that don’t allow wood fires.
Thanks for “taking us along” on your adventures.
    Happy Trails

I’m gonna go after the coffee making process from a different angle than the other detractors. I have what appears to be the same press, and coming from the land of drip coffee makers, I am having a little trouble turning coffee grounds and water into a drinkable cup of coffee. How much coffee and how many minutes are you steeping?
