That car is F-ing GORGEOUS now that you’ve looked after it..! I watched the entire video…she’s PERFECT!! ‘I can only imagine…’ Heaven On Earth are the MB Diesels you have on offer…so impressed.
Ein wirklich tolles Auto!! Was ich aber nie mochte sind die Stoßfänger der US-Version. Das wurde später bei anderen Modellen eleganter gelöst. Aber trotzdem ein schönes Fahrzeug!!!
Comparable to a 3-4 year old car that's been pampered. Any MBZ car fan would want it. It would interesting how much this one is or one like it is going for.
What a beautiful car. I am looking for one of these but I want one I can use as a daily driver and this one is too nice. Also, I live on the west coast and I am unable to travel to Georgia. My curiosity is killing me though. If you don't mind, what is your asking price? Thank you. You have done an outstanding job,
All of our pricing is listed on the website www.woodsandbarclay.com we also ship cars all over the country so the fact that you don't live in Georgia is not a problem. I hear that comment a lot, people wanting to have a classic car as a daily driver but our cars are too nice. That is a huge mistake in your thinking. The last thing you want in your life is a classic car that is not nice, it will absolutely break your wallet and your bank account. When buying a classic car you want to make sure you buy the nicest possible car you can afford. If you buy a cheap classic car the mechanical and restoration costs are going to be exponentially more expensive than starting with something that's already restored. Especially if you're looking at a w116 Mercedes. There's no such thing as a cheap 116 Mercedes. The cars are either original owner cars that need to be restored or they're just completely trashed and not feasible to restore due to the cost. So be very very careful when you're looking for a classic car.
It was the Orient Red Wagon not the last one I did but the one before that it had about 85,000 mi on it. By the way I set up a new patreon page that allows you to become a member and get early access to all my videos. If you're able to please join as it definitely helps me out because making these videos is very time consuming. If you look in the description of this video you should see a link to my patreon page.
That was an option in 1979. This car was ordered without one. If you look at a lot of old cars from the '60s and 70s you will learn that a lot of them did not have passenger side mirrors.
Hey John can you do me a favor and give me some info please. My 1984 300sd w126 ac compressor went out and I have a brand new one. My ac system is completely empty. I pulled everything apart and flushed it. New condenser, ac lines, drier, expansion valve, Schrader valves, ac temp switch, high pressure switch, etc. How much oil do I need to put in my new compressor? I was told 8 Oz of pag, then I was also told 5 Oz. I'm confused, please help me out sir
First you need to read the instructions that came with your compressor. There's usually some oil from the factory in there. We add 180 CC's which is 6 ounces. I've talked with Pierre hedary about this and he also agrees 180cc. That is on an empty system that is brand new like yours. Your compressor is probably going to have some residual oil in it from the factory so that'll be another half ounce or an ounce. So the point is people are telling you between 5 oz and 8 oz it's a little variable dependent on the situation like I said we do 6 ounces
It looks brand new. Amazing!!!
