8 WINNIPEG FIRE TRUCKS RESPONDING - Big Structure Fire Response

- This could damn near be considered "Dumping the hall". A massive response out of Winnipeg Fire Station 1 to a working structure fire in the 500 block of Spence Street, which was only a short distance from Station 1. Engine 101, Incident Command Unit, NEW Rescue 5 , Engine 103, Squad 101, Ladder 1, Platoon Chief, and Medical Supervisor were all of the units I was able to capture responding. There were many more units on scene of the fire.
While on scene of the first fire, another working fire was reported 1 block to the west of the first fire in the 400 block of Young Street. Fire crews from different stations came flooding into the area and battled that fire simultaneously with crews still battling the first fire.

Holy Winnipeg
Coming back to comment, still can't get over this video my god...
Definitely my best Winnipeg response. Thanks buddy!
Oh man literally! Of course man, hope to always see more from these guys :)
I will be firefighters in winnipeg at station 28 which is a hazmat rescue medical station
I too have gotten a response like this once Hehe. Nice video!
Gotta love the big responses!
Amazing catches
Great catch !
Great catches!
Largest continuous response I've ever gotten! Thanks for watching!
Fantastic Video Liam!! Who would've of thought another fire call was going to come in especially a block away from the one you were at!!
Yeah it was crazy. I was hearing tons of sirens while on scene of the first fire, and I thought that maybe it was just more units arriving on scene of the first fire, but I never saw any additional units or firefighters. When I was walking back to my truck I looked down the next street and saw all of those other units on scene of the other fire. It was nuts! Thanks for watching man!
Dang! Awesome job!! Busy day.
Very busy! This is the largest continuous response I've ever gotten so I'm pretty happy. Thanks for watching!
Amazing video Liam!!
Thanks Michael!
Hey liam I was wondering if there going more fire station in the south of Winnipeg in the future
You're wondering if they're making another fire station in the south or if I will go to a fire station in the south? I'll likely try and get some videos in other parts of Winnipeg over the next year or two, and I do believe they're planning on putting another station in the south end.
Like station 28 going to be a hazmat rescue medical station
@@cgaming5561 I’m not sure. Might want to check with some of the fire buffs who are in Winnipeg.
Can you give me the link
Winnipeg fire department should add tiller ladder to the feet
Holy crow how many units do they have? Lol
Seriously though awesome catches buddy, I smiled when the Ladder rolled out cause I knew how much you've been wanting to catch it!
Yeah I smiled too, I got 2 videos of it going emerg that day so I was really lucky! This hall has a lot of units, and I'm not even sure if I'll get them all but it'll be close. Engine 101, Engine 103, Squad 101, Squad 102, Ladder 1, MIRV 1, Medic 31, Medic 91, Platoon Chief and maybe 1-2 other incident command type units. It's a big hall! Plus Rescue 5 was there when I was there due to their hall being closed for construction right now.
They also have, unless it's changed, Medical Superintendent 55 who is like the Platoon Chief for EMS.
Oh nice! Is the Medical Superintendent the same as a Medical Supervisor? Or are they two different positions with different vehicles? Because I caught a Medical Supervisor arriving on scene at 1:52, and that could've came from 1 Hall as well.
I think training wise the Superintendent would be similar but as a position on shift he/she would be more like the Platoon Chief and a Supervisor would be more like a District Chief if I had to compare. When I was there it was rare to see him/her out of the hall let alone responding to calls but times change. They do have a vehicle, it was an F-150 when I was there, and it was usually parked behind the Platoon Chiefs vehicle.
Liam Pattison Photography a day for me to do my city fire department fire fighters and police department and FDNY was my city police department
Was everyone ok
Pretty sure no injuries in either fire.
How many bays do they Hav
They've got 8 bays in the front and I think they've got 2 bays in the back, but those are just so Ladder 1 and MIRV 1 can pull straight through without having to back into their bay.
Ok
